Not great
This cleansing balm isn’t great, it doesn’t emulsify and is hard to wash off. I also find it very irritating to my eyes, it makes them sting. And it doesn’t do much of a good job at removing any eye make up. I am just finishing this off and will not be purchasing again!.

Not the best cleansing balm
I have oily skin and did not enjoy this cleansing balm at all - it left a film of residue after using and was quite greasy. There are a lot of other cleansing balms that work a lot better than this one. I suppose if you have dry skin you might like the feeling but for me i like to have a clean face that i can add moisture to myself with other products. Won't be purchasing again.

Yuck
Gawd I hate this stuff. I’m ploughing through it just to finish it off. I consider just throwing it out. Every other cleansing balm(Emma H, Eve Lim, Clinique, Elemis et al) emulsifies with water do I washed away. This one is like home made balm. Just oils. It doesn’t rinse off. I need to wipe a LOT with a flannel and warm water. I am left feeling greasy. I hate it. It’s like something Ursula the queen of home made cosmetics made it. Yucky

Worst oil cleanser
I tried many melting/oil cleansers and this has got to be the worst! So thick and even when it melts it leaves a sticky feeling. Drop this and buy the Elemis one instead.

The One
I’m on my third or fourth tub of this balm cleanser. I’ve tried a couple of others (body shop, glow recipe etc) but keep coming back to this one and I don’t think I’ll be trying anything else from now on. It’s gentle, nourishing, lovely to use, doesn’t sting eyes and, most importantly, removes eye makeup and SPF easily without having leaving any residue. Highly recommend.

Been using this for a couple of years now, I wouldn’t use anything else. Cleans off makeup so easily and makes your skin feel smooth and moisturised.

Heavier on the oil than the milk
I like a balm cleanser, so I thought I'd give this one a go. It's very well packaged (love the little magnetic scoop), a larger tub than others at the same price point or higher, and though I don't wear makeup day to day, it did do a good job on my mascara the one time I have worn some recently. It has a very muted, neutral scent, which is better than it being over perfumed, but not actively pleasant. My biggest issues is that it stays more oily than I expected when mixed with water. While something like Versed's balm immediately becomes a light, thin milk with only a little water, and other balms like Neal's Yard Wild Rose Beauty Balm never feel that oily to begin with, this is quite heavy. If I don't use a face cloth to help me rinse my skin doesn't feel that clean afterwards. If you have drier skin and wear makeup daily then I can see that this might be what you want, as it feels like it might be better than some balms at sloughing off makeup and leaving you feeling moisturised, but it's not my personal taste. I won't order this again.
