Love it!

Was very excited to try these products and they lived up to the hype. I’ve since bought the full-size Framboos, C Firma and Beste cleanser. La La Retro is a great moisturiser during this freezing weather (well, it is in the North of Scotland anyway!)

Love it so much!

First of all - this kit is the best and complete set of skincare products that I have ever seen. And it is a great way to test almost the whole range of DF. This value is enough to get an opinion about every product and you would use this set during 1-2 months. For me, every product from this kit is worth to buy it in a full size. I love beste - it is a gentle cleanser and it removes makeup very good without drying out my skin. Shaba serum is too light for me to use it single, but in advance, with C-Tango eye cream it seems to show a good result with firmness and hydration. TLC serum dries skin a lot, that's why I would recommend to use it not often than 1-2 times a week. It helps skin renewal. Hydration serum I have already using in a full size, my skin needs it, but I cannot say that this product would do something super cool. It is just doing its job. C-Firma serum really helps your skin looks younger and fresh, but for me, it is too strong to use it every day - my skin became redness shade after a while. So I use it once per 2-3 days. Marula oil - I cannot say something special about it, but my skin looks more hydrated while I am using it. And finally Lala cream - it is good basic cream for my routine, I ordered a full size. It feels thick but has a matte finish and my makeup looks good with this cream.

Really lovely!

Bought this on a whim as I was in need of new face wash, moisturisers, etc and I always like to try something new, so this was perfect! I think it’s pretty good value for money considering you’re receiving 7 different products (and a cute little wash bag) for £71 and you’ll get the free samples from Cult Beauty at the end of the checkout too. I’ve been rotating through using all of these on different days, but the great thing is is that you can combine them together, so you can add a boost of whatever your skin needs that particular day and create a routine that is perfectly suited for your skin type. So far I have no complaints about any of the products but have got to say I haven’t seen any major improvements in my skin, BUT having said that, I have only been using these for two/three weeks, but hey, so far so good!

Not sure what went wrong

I was one of the eagerly awaiting UK fans of drunk elephant especially after hearing all the Instagram reviews. But I just can’t explain how disappointed I am. I have normal to oily skin, with the odd break out on my chin area and do suffer from blackheads. I started using the products and mixing them as the reviews said for a good 2 weeks and I broke out in places I’ve never had spots before, but they weren’t even just normal spots they were like those really sore under the skin ones. I thought I’d stop using the products and see whether it was just my skin/hormones, so I didn’t touch DE for two weeks and my skin returned to normal, so when I started using DE again and the same thing happened again (large isolated spots) I thought it must be the products so I’ve stopped them for good. I know I can’t 100% be sure it was the DE that caused my breakout but I just don’t want to chance using them again. Such a shame, because I really wanted to love them like the majority of people seem to do- but I suppose they can’t be for everyone.

Love the littles

I bought this as a treat to take on holiday, so the travel kit was great for me. I love the Cleansing jelly and have not had any problems with serums. I'm just going into my 4th week, but have mostly resisted the instruction to mix the serums together due to the cost. The Lala retro cream is a bit thick but absorbs well. I can't say I've noticed a change in my skin, if anything it now feels slightly dry. I love the funky packaging but now have the dilemma of either going back to what I used before; trying a different make which is cheaper or just buying the products I like best from DE. Going to wait until I've used the all the products before making a decision.

Don’t understand the hype

I used the Littles for 2 weeks and they will last this long if you only use a bit of them. Now for the actual review, they made my skin worse. I have a darker skin tone and now I have a darker mark on my left cheekbone which I suspect is from Framboos. I think it was Caroline that said glycolic is not the best for darker skin. Used C Firma and B hydra mixed together and Lala Retro on top during the day. My skin became dehydrated but I later found that I should be using more product which makes me think of how fast I would run out of the bigger sizes (probably a month?). The eye serum was the best by far but it only helps with hydration. Lala retro is unique considering that I have oily skin and it soaked in pretty fast but I can’t say it’s a holy grail. Keep in mind that the second week I was in Denmark and it was pretty cold. The product that saved me was my Paula’s Choice sunscreen and now I’m going back to my previous PC routine to fix my skin.

Some HG Products

A great way to try out the Drunk Elephant brand. I have spot prone, red, uneven texture and combination skin (it’s not very good tbh). Using this kit has been wonderful. My skin has improved dramatically. It’s no longer red and inflamed. My spots have but disappeared. My skin feels bouncy. The texture has improved. I would say it’s mostly down to the C Firma and Framboos. They are two products that I ’m going to have to buy. This has been over the course of five weeks. I haven't used any other products and my makeup has stayed the same. I still have Lala Retro left and Marula Oil. The rest are on their final pumps. £75 is expensive for a month’s skincare but it’s better than any facial I’ve ever had. The gelee cleanser is ok. It doesn’t remove heavy makeup or eye make up. The eye serum is meh, I’d love to see that swapped with the other eye cream they do. B Hydra is very moisturising on its own so if you had oily skin this might be enough for you. I wouldn’t buy the minis again - maybe if I wanted it for holiday or when I’m staying overnight at my boyfriend's. I’d rather just buy the big sizes, however. Now if only I could afford it all.....

Worth the purchase

I am a complete beauty junkie and I love trying new products. This set is amazing. I did what it said in the instructions and basically didn’t use any other skin care apart from an spf I have for a few weeks and I have never had such clear skin in my life. I love that it is all unscented so there are no irrititants or unnecessary ingredients. I’ve already repurchased full sizes of half of these - the la la retro cream being a new holy grail of mine. This is such good value to try all of the products and it going to keep the ends of the bottles for traveling in hand luggage. Love love love

Great Products, but I regret the purchase

I've got two of these (first lasted me about 5 weeks). DE products are great, but I give three star because this "combo" doesn't meet my needs: I'm 24 and I have always suffered from acne, my skin is combination and very sensitive. I love 4 of these (Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil mixed with T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum on every other night, B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum mixed with C-Firma Day Serum every day), they are worth a full five stars and I feel they're improving my skin, but the Lala Retro Whipped Cream is too heavy for me, and the Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser leaves a sort of patina on my skin (I think they aver very gentle, but probably they're more suitable for skin more dry/mature). I'm very disappointed with Shaba Complex Eye Serum: to use it or not to use it is the same thing. Honestly, I'm loving DE, but I I should have bought the single pack to build a more suitable routine for my needs. I will repurchase the full size of 4 products that I appreciated, and the Protini Plypeptide Cream instead of Lala Retro Whipped. Ps. Cult Beauty is my favorite online shop: good prices, wide selection (I hope it will grow again) and truly exceptional customer service (I'm from Italy and I've never had problems with shipping, I received my parcel in one week). PPS. We NEED Sukari Baby facial in EU :)

New hg products!

This was my first time trying anything from the brand, and needless to say I was super excited to test these out when they launched in the UK. I’ve been struggling with oily, acne-prone, dehydrated skin all my life. Before testing out this set I was dealing with constant breakouts, but since then my skin has completely cleared out. I can’t remember when was the last time I didn’t have a single breakout before this. I absolutely love every single product; even Lala and the Beste cleanser that I wasn’t that excited about. Going get a few of the holiday kits to stock up. This kit has lasted me 1,5 months so far, only the cream is all gone. I usually mix the marula&tlc/marula&c-firma/b-hydra in together before applying so you only need a single pump of each product.
