Terrible awful SPF

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

I wonder why they are still manufacturing it with so many bad reviews - it's one of the worst SPFs I tried and I tried loads. It doesn't sink in well, leaves white cast and super oily finish, it's gritty and greasy. I will avoid like a plague.

Amazing sunscreen

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

It is a mineral sunscreen, I had to stop using physical sunscreens in the past because they would sting my eyes. It also has a ton of skincare benefits, so it feels like not only am I applying sunscreen but also a light extra moisturiser, which my slightly dry skin loves. It gives a gorgeous glow, and helps flatter the skin in the daytime. Have never burned wearing it. Will keep repurchasing, it is beautiful

Best sunscreen

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I've tried many different brands of good quality sunscreen, but this is the best by far. I have very sensitive eyes and this doesn't cause any irritation which has been a real problem with other brands, even ones specifically for the eye area. It takes a bit of work to rub in and leaves a slight white cast, but that disappears pretty quickly. It doesn't feel heavy and makeup goes on really well once it's dried in.

Great for the winter months

This is such a lovely formula. It does not irritate my skin and works well with acne. I especially like using this during the indoor heating season - it is a bit more moisturizing than a regular mineral spf. Best part - it really sinks into my skin and once worked it completely disappears.

The best

This is my favourite DE product - no other sun cream comes close on ingredients. The formula appears to have been improved since I first started using - it’s no longer grainy. I used to have to shake it before each use but my last two bottles have not required this. The cream is now thicker in consistency and not at all grainy.   I only wish they’d make it in SPF50. It’s mineral/ physical so there’s a slight white caste but that’s preferable to buying reef-killing chemical sun cream IMO.  I don’t use much skincare - just a basic moisturiser, the DE cleansing balm & this SPF. Im in my mid 30s but constantly mistaken for being 10-15 years younger - i credit that to wearing this SPF everyday.

Great sunscreen

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

Love this cream, have skin on the sensitive side and rosacea - the cream adds additional hydration and protection. Works well under make-up as well. Some reviews say it is grainy - the product got grainy towards the end for me but was still usable (though probably shouldn't given it is SPF...). Mostly would say to keep any SPF out of direct sun and heat to prevent them going bad prematurely.

I love it

I really like this sunscreen. I am mixed white black African and it works really well on my skin. It does leave a slight white cast at first but if you work it in it’s fine. I brought it as I heard it works well on black skin and it hasn’t disappointed me so far. The only thing I wish is that it was an SPF 50.

Meh

I was so excited to try this since you hear so much great about DE, but this was just not a good product. Mine was kind of grainy/lumpy and I did have to work it into my skin for a while to get rid of the white cast. For reference, I'm the palest person anyone in my friend circles know, so I imagine anyone with skin darker than me will have their work cut out for them in that department.
