Lovely treat
This is pricey for a cleanser and I'm sure there are cheaper alternatives but you definitely get what you pay for. You can tell Elemis use good ingredients and this feels like a nice little luxury

The best cleansing balm I’ve tried!
There’s a citrus smell that I can’t get enough of that makes taking off my makeup such a wonderful experience. It’s not too oily and you only need a little to do a whole face- it means that this huge tub is going to stay in my collection for a while. It’s a cult favourite for a reason and I am sold.

I tend to lean towards cleansing balms as my skin is generally very dry. But this is pure heaven. It removes makeup beautifully and leaves my skin feeling clean but also nourished and hydrated. As much as i have always liked Elemis products, i have avoided cleansing balms as it felt too much like hard work, but after watching a video review, i took a punt and am really glad. Applying this to dry skin, first thing in the morning, then walking into the shower and removing it with a warm, wet flannel (provided), really gives a deep initial clean, ready for a secondary product like the superfood facial wash. I can see this being a permanent part of a morning ritual
