Effective
I’ve used Factor 50 under make up for 20 odd years and am always on the look out for an effective moisturising cream. I often come back to this. Positives - it’s an effective SPF and feels quite luxurious. Downside - you need to put on 30 mins before make up because it takes a while to log in. I prefer Elizabeth Arden Prevage City Smart for every day use.

Not good!
As far as SPF goes this is probably the only positive! It’s so greasy and leaves my normal to dry skin oily in less than an hour! You just can’t wear under makeup! Even leaving for a good hour it still looked awful! It goes on ok as long as you do it in two to three goes like you would any other SPF to get the right amount of protection. I suffer with melasma and it did absolutely nothing for that unfortunately! My melasma still came through! In fact it seemed to show up more when I used this. I tried it over a period of 7 days to give it a fair chance and try it in various ways. The first thing you notice is the overwhelming floral smell! If you’re sensitive to scent this won’t be for you as it doesn’t go quickly, it seems to linger for some time! When applying in two to three layers to get the right protection it does seem to sink in eventually, but takes a while and does leave a white case for a bit, but this does fade in a few minutes. After trying it on it’s own, with and without my usual moisturiser, with and without primer etc, this just doesn’t sit well. It goes greasy very quickly and leaves you feeling like you’ve put oils on your skin. I asked two if my friends to try it too, one has oily skin, one combo. The oily skin was horrific within minutes! Just didn’t seem to soak in at all! Similar with the combo, but did rub in with a fair bit of effort but within a very short time it’s oily again. For the cost I was very disappointed! Definitely not worth investing in.

Lightweight SPF
This moisturizer is great, it sinks into the skin nicely and is very lightweight, the best advice is to apply it 30 mins before exposure to the sun.

Awful
I bought this in thinking it was going to be the perfect moisturiser as it had the sun defence, boy was I wrong, after applying for the first time it left my face grey & the texture was horrid. I think if your using this on holiday to sit around the pool would be ok. But it’s not for every day.

Great protection, but...
I've found that this doesn't cause breakouts or redness - but it does get oily!! Even with a primer, after an hour or two with this under makeup the foundation starts to slide around my face. Would recommend on its own - if you're going to the beach, or you don't wear foundation/bb cream - but if you're looking to layer over the top and you have oily/combination skin then it might not work for you.

Brilliant lightweight - no white residue
I love this cream; I've used it instead of a moisturiser and used make up over it. It doesn't leave white marks that you worry about with some sun creams. I'm of South Asian heritage and it works just perfect on my skin. Highly recommended.

Protection perfection
You're always being told to wear SPF protection on your face to keep those dreaded wrinkles at bay. After being told that I was at the perfect age to start protecting my skin (21), I decided to purchase this cream. Dreading an outbreak from suffocating sun creams I was so pleasantly surprised that this is basically a cream with the added benefit of a sun cream. Perfectly clear, radiant skin whilst being protected :)
