very liquidy, wouldnt say hydrating
in my personal experience, i wouldn't use this as a moisturizer, especially in the winter. It could be good as a potential day cream in the summer however. It sits okay on the skin, but isn't revolutionary in my eyes & if you don't wait long enough for it to sink in, it just moves the make up around your face. I would say though that it can act as a bit of a boost for drier areas in which make up doesn't sit quite right

Needs a better cap
I was actually surprised by this cream. It works surprisingly well under my colourscience tinted sunscreen. It moisturises well and didn’t break me out. The only issue was that the thread on the cap broke so it now keeps spinning without closing properly. I’ve this is an issue with caps when they don’t put enough threads on the cap.

Classic for a reason
I love everything about this moisturizer. I have more mature, slightly dehydrated skin and this is a dream. When needed, during colder weather or PM, I blend it with a few drops of oil and everyone I've tried so far has worked excellent. No pilling, no bunching up, just smooth and nice hydration. I can use it all year round, AM and PM. It has a very distinct scent, to me it smells like French pharmacy skincare, which I know isn't helpful but it's the only way I can describe it.

Great basic moisturiser
I use this to make skincare mixes with various products from The Ordinary. It’s a really great moisturiser - light enough to soak in really quickly but not so light that it’s in any way watery or that you don’t feel like it’s done anything. I can’t say whether it’s this or The Ordinary products that have made the difference, but my skin looks so much clearer in just a few weeks of use. Will definitely buy the bigger size when I run out.

Not for me
I think this moisturiser would be great for very dry skin, as it ends up with a very thick consistency on the skin and takes a while to absorb since it is so rich, however as someone with combination skin that leans on the dry side, this was a little too heavy for me and caused over 6 cystic spots on my face within 2 weeks, which I'm not usually prone to, hence the 3-star review. Overall, however, I would say if you struggle with very dry skin, and not sensitive skin, this would be perfect!

Embryolisse Laboratories Lait-Creme Concentre
This cream has top ratings from many users so I decided to give it a whirl. It is an excellent easy-to-apply everyday cream, sits well under make-up, and can be used after serum. I would not necessarily choose it for the winter months as it is quite light, and absorbs quickly. Dry skin might need a bigger benefit from a moisturiser. For the price point, it is a winner!

Great for Moisture Barrier
Completely renewed my skin and bought my moisture barrier back. Has a distinct smell to it but silky smooth and great for acne too.

Very good
I really like this moisturizer on my dry skin. If you use actives separately ( for example in serums) then this might be the one for you. If you are looking for a one and done product then this might not be for you. It's a simple great basic moisturizer. Suits all skin types. My boyfriend with oily skin also loves this one.

Lives up to expectations
Really nice cream prefered over my previous Keihl's and the ink. I have dry skin so it's absorbed immediately and leaves my face hydrated! I also ordered body cream and mask by this brand.
