Brimming with honey a natural humectant that accelerates healing alongside propolis (an antiseptic, found in beehives) and amino acid-rich royal jelly this replenishing treatment restores moisture levels to plump and repair stressed, depleted complexions. The honey comes from the echinacea or 'green envy' plant, and is sourced from hives on FARMACYs own farm. Naturally brimming with antioxidants to maintain cell health and delay the development of fine lines, this elixir even tackles dark spots and other tell-tale signs of stress on skin. Cleanse and tone the skin.
Use the spatula to scoop the face mask and spread a thick layer gently across the face from forehead to chin (avoiding direct contact with eye and lip areas).
Massage for one to two minutes while it warms and transforms into a white cream.
Leave on for 10 to 15 minutes then rinse off and pat face with towel to dry.

I bought both this and the much larger Honey Potion Plus when both were on offer, and tried this one first. I use a lot of face masks, probably 3/4 a week, of different types, and this is pretty special for a rinse off 'gel' type mask! It smells divine, the honey scent is subtle but comforting. There was tingling when I applied it, which was the mask warming up as I massaged it per instructions until it turned into a white cream. It felt really silky, and although sticky feeling at first this didn't really bother me. Afterwards my skin was left feeling very soft and smooth, and I noticed that it felt less tight than usual - which was exactly what I wanted after using a fair few acidic products recently! I'm not sure if I'll buy this specific one again, simply because I am yet to use the Plus version, but one of them is definitely going to find its way into my evening routine!

Love how my skin feels very smooth after using it. Wasn’t expecting that super stingy feeling while leaving it on though. Not sure if that’s normal or if I’m just overly sensitive. But as long as you pass the burning sensation it feels great after.

A nourishing mask
I’m not sure if this mask quite lives up to all of the hype that it gets, but I do think it’s very nourishing. I suffer from dry skin once the weather turns cold and I add this mask back into my routine then. I think the magnetic packaging is genius! There is a slight warming sensation when using this mask, but I personally like it.

Lovely packaging!
I have to admit I only really bought this because I couldn't resist how it looks- which turns out to be the best thing about it. The packaging is beautiful and it looks so gorgeous on my bathroom shelf. I love the wooden lid and the little metal spoon it comes with which even fits to the lid with a magnet. The product itself is ok- it is a very sticky texture like actual honey- and it warms slightly as you massage it onto your face. I don't particularly find it very soothing for my skin though- in fact it made it sting a bit which I wasn't expecting. Afterwards, my skin feels ok- not especially moisturised or soothed at all- not sure it will be repurchased...
