Lovely scent and texture
The honey and vanilla scent is really nice and the texture of this is not too thick. I have used lip treatments/masks of thicker consistency which did not do anything to improve the dryness of my lips but just felt too tacky. This was thinner but felt moisturising and my lips felt smooth and shiny after use.

Not the best Farmacy product
I love the Farmacy brand but I have to say this wasn’t so great. I have tried their other lip balm and prefer that one. This one is very thin. Very thin, very glossy and shiny and ‘flimsy’. It doesn’t last long on the lips a sip of a drink and it’s almost fully gone , one more sip and it’s all totally disappeared. If it wasn’t for the gorgeous honey smell- which is actually a really nice true honey/ vanilla - and doesn’t smell or taste cheap, I would say this is a bit like a kids lip balm they put in kids beauty sets … The scent saves it from being that. So it’s not but still, it’s just not very effective. My lips are dry and dehydrated but not chapped or extremely dry. At night I like to use a really thick heavy balm that I can apply and go to sleep and hopefully wake up to still some on. Something that feels more luxurious and more important you just know it’s doing something. My favourites for this so far are the Fresh recovery lip mask and an Avene lip cream also kiehls butter mask is nice and thick but i don’t like the scent and taste

I am always on a hunt for a new lip balm, as I have super dry lips (I am convinced I have tried them all!) I am already a huge fan of the Honey Halo cream and Farmacy as a brand so this was a no-brainer for me to try. I love that this pays off quite shiny as though you have a gloss on, but this is super nourishing and my lips are not left thirsty for more once it has absorbed (or I have drank enough tea that its all around my cup). Not to mention its a glass tub with a metal lid, definitely would recommend and repurchase.
