Using improved ceramic heat technology and snag-free floating plates, these glide effortlessly through tresses to deliver the optimum temperature of 185ºC – ghd’s team of scientists concluded that cooler temperatures deliver poorer styling results while hotter ones can cause irreversible, unnecessary hair damage. A round barrel allows for versatile styling, particularly when creating curls, while a staggering 30 second heat up time is a God send on busy mornings. For peace of mind, the device automatically switches off after 30 minutes and a universal voltage makes it the perfect travel companion. Good hair all day, every day? Sounds like a no-brainer to us…

Before use, spritz your hair generously with heat protectant. We recommend ghd heat protect spray. Once the Straightener has heated, use it to straighten, curl or create waves.
Leave the Straightener to cool, then fold the cord in the same way as it arrived in the original packaging. Where possible, avoid wrapping it around the body of the Styler or hanging it by the cord as this could cause damage.

Unbeatable and still the best, GHD just are the leading in hair tech, these are their basic straighteners, I purchased my first set back in the 90's .... easy to use and gives such a smooth finish, this is why this brand is still number one!! Can't do hair without them!

Very average, it’s very thin which makes the process longer. Only good thing is that it heats up very quickly but still not good enough. I have had cheaper hair straighteners that are way better than this one. Not worth the money at all in my opinion
