Using improved ceramic heat technology and snag-free floating plates, these glide effortlessly through tresses to deliver the optimum temperature of 185ºC – ghd’s team of scientists concluded that cooler temperatures deliver poorer styling results while hotter ones can cause irreversible, unnecessary hair damage. A round barrel allows for versatile styling, particularly when creating curls, while a staggering 30 second heat up time is a God send on busy mornings. Before use, spritz your hair generously with heat protectant. We recommend ghd heat protect spray. Once the Straightener has heated, use it to straighten, curl or create waves.
Leave the Straightener to cool, then fold the cord in the same way as it arrived in the original packaging. Where possible, avoid wrapping it around the body of the Styler or hanging it by the cord as this could cause damage.

GHD make the best straighteners and these are great. However, I have the older model of these with an on/off switch which I think is preferable to the button on this newer model. Turning off especially you have to hold the button for a while which is a bit tricky with a hot device!
