Bouncy blowdry
This hot brush has been great for achieving lift at my roots and a bouncy effect. I also find it great when curling hair for my bangs at the front to creat movement and lift but not a curl as such. What I haven't quite managed to do and it may just take practice is to get the soft curl effect that is demonstrated on GHD website. This for me is all about volume, body and a slight wave - which is lovely and a bit of a go to style for me so happy with this purchase.

I'm annoyed by how much I like this
I am not a hair girl. Love makeup, love fashion, hate doing my hair. If I had infinite money I'd get regular blowouts just so I don't have to do the work. This tool is perfect for me. No matter what I have or haven't done to prep my hair, this gives me a way to look smoothed out and intentional with minimal effort. Only four starts because, whew it is pricey.

Just don’t use this enough… I need to keep practicing with it but the look I achieve with this so far is unreal. I can’t curl my hair with straighteners to save my life so this is a game changer. Really adds volume to my fine hair

Too expensive for what it achieves
Yes it dries the hair and gives some body but it’s not the easiest to use and doesn’t create much impact. A normal hairdryer would do the same ultimately.

A Magical Transformation
Having always suffered from thin and lifeless hair (*sigh*), this tool has really CHANGED MY LIFE! I have short and straight shoulder length hair and this effortlessly gives my hair a wonderful bouncy look. So many people have commented on my hair looking healthier and more full! Really useful hair tool
I bought this as an alternative to using my straighteners or curling wand-partly because I’m conscious of how much heat I use on my hair. The hot brush itself is really easy to use and has a nice weight to it. It definitely gives a lovely blow-dried finish with soft curls/flicks in my long hair which is fairly thick. I think it’s worth remembering it is a hot brush and not a curling wand so the finish will be different but I’d buy it, if like me, you are looking for an in-between hair tool that will be a useful addition! I love how I can add a little curl to the ends of my hair without using heat the whole way through and it’s fab for giving life back to hair that’s not been washed for a couple of days! Win win!
