An overachiever if ever we laid eyes on one, Gisou’s Honey Infused Leave-In Conditioner works hard to *takes a deep breath*: hydrate, smooth, detangle your mane, all while protecting hair from heat damage, pollution and breakage. Phew!
How does it do it? Well, of course, there’s Gisou’s star ingredient, honey, front and centre. A natural humectant (meaning it slurps up and holds hydration within the hair shaft), honey is packed with vitamins, amino acids and antioxidants to impart strength, help repair damage and add all of the shine. Alongside that, you’ll find baobab extract, argan oil and panthenol, all of which work together soften and condition hair while making the styling process a whole lot more manageable.

Hydrating, smoothing, luxurious leave-in conditioner
The Gisou leave-in conditioner has become a staple in my protective styling routine for my 3c/4a curly hair. I use it as a base under a styling cream and I can get my twists or braids to last a week. I’ve seen a lot of length retention in my hair routine since I began using this leave-in conditioner. The only drawback is that the smell is a little odd and rubbery. It doesn't smell like most of the Gisou range which is honey and florals. However, the performance of the product makes up for the fragrance. I don’t usually like liquid sprays on my curly hair, but this one instantly smooths my cuticles and it makes a great combo with any of the Gisou oils. It’s also light enough to use as a leave-in before blowdrying your hair and it makes my hair shinier.
