The key here really is propolis, a deeply fortifying ingredient that fuels all of Gisou’s superstar styling range. Produced and used by bees to build strong beehives, propolis contains plenty of oils, vitamins, minerals and flavonoids to protect your hair and keep it at its most healthy — all while create a shield against the drying, breakage-causing effects of heat styling.

A staple
I’ve been trying out a lot of different heat protectants and I find that most of them end up making your hair so sticky or smelling very industrial. But Gisou’s is infused with honey and it doesn’t smell overwhelming like the others. While it’s not the strongest protectant, I prefer it because it doesn’t mattify my hair. I’ve been using this spray for 2 years now and I love it

Style over substance
Looks very cute on my shelf but unfortunately I don’t feel like it’s the best performance-wise. I also feel like it smells strongly of alcohol which makes me feel like it’s more drying than protecting/ hydrating.

Game changer
I don’t know why many people are sceptical about this product but I cannot live without it. Many people don’t watch tutorials or how to use it and find it useless. It says to spray onto dry or towel dry hair, dry your hair and then use styling tools. I have very flat hair and to create curls is an impossible task for me, unless I have a ton on hair spray. This is a game changer for me. I just spray it onto my dry hair, let it dry and I either use Gisou curling wand and let curls cool down before releasing or use the sock/bathrobe tie to do overnight curls and oh boy, it works wonders!!! I can finally achieve curls 🙏
