Can’t live without
This is now a staple in my routine. I have dry/dehydrated skin prone to redness and use this as my daily moisturizer. Soothing and light yet really sinks in and moisturizes my skin. Amazing base too, the serum-like texture makes it great for layering under makeup. I personally like the banana scent but it shouldn’t put you off as it doesn’t linger.

I would buy it again
I got this cream in my advent calendar. I was very excited to try some products from Glow Recipe but was a bit sceptical since I am not a fan of the banana smell. Luckily the smell doesn't stay on your skin long and you cannot smell it through the day. I like the texture and how moisturising it is. I have combination skin and during winter (if I would go every day to the office) I would prefer something thicker and use this one in summer. I am not a big fan of the packaging. It's kinda difficult to get the cream out of the jar you really need to dig there with your finger which is not hygienic. I would enjoy the packaging better if it was in a pump or tube.

I wanted to love it!
I really wanted to love this cream however it isn’t as moisturising as I’d hoped and it doesn’t smell too good. It’s quite an odd watery yet sticky gel texture that sits on the skin at first then sinks in. Sort of leaves a glow but nothing groundbreaking sadly and it hasn’t improved the look or feel of my skin. The packaging is cute of course and I liked the sound of it but it just doesn’t do what a cream should in my opinion. Sorry glow recipe.

Could be so good, but...
I love the texture of this moisturiser! It's exactly what I'm looking for in terms of hydration and the silky smooth feeling when it goes on. However the banana smell is too much for me and the packaging it comes in means you have to dig it out with your finger and can never quite get the right amount from the jar.

Broke me out, too oily
I had really high hopes for this but unfortunately, I was disappointed. The smell is really strong and overpowering, it smells really artificial. This cream left a lot of oily residue on my skin and takes a really long time to sink in. It also broke me out. I wouldn't recommend this to acne-prone skin, oily skin and sensitive skin as it contains a lot of fragrance which, natural or not, still sensitises the skin.

Amazing!
I have recently started on medication for my acne and this has really helped to keep my skin hydrated and relieve the dryness as one of the sides affects of my medication is my skin becomes dry and irritated. This has helped to minimise this and help my skin glow.

mediocre cream
Got this with the watermelon mask, smells artificial to me as the mask, but at least this cream performs better than the mask, but still very average, doesn't impress me at all. You can get much better cream for the same price tag.

The most beautiful glow!
I've finished up the whole product, and my thoughts are that it leaves my skin looking healthy and feels just perfectly hydrating enough on my dry skin. The smell is great as well!

Good but not mindblowing
I have now used the full jar of this moisturiser and overall it's pretty good but I personally haven't noticed a significant difference from other moisturisers. I would say this is a nice, gentle, light product. Absorbs in relatively quickly, good for an everyday morning routine.

banana moisture cream
I love pretty much all the Glow Recipe products I have tried and this is no different! It is lightweight and soothing but very hydrating, when I use it at night my skin feels so soft in the morning.The scent is pretty gentle but really nice. I am very breakout prone but this hasn’t caused any breakouts or made my breakout-scarring redness worse through irritation. The only thing is that it’s not the crazy thick / rich type of cream - it is amazingly fresh and hydrating for my troubled skin, but if you have dry or more mature skin (I’m 21 and my skin is annoyingly like a teenager’s) you may want to layer it over a hydrating serum or the Glow Recipe watermelon glow pink juice moisturiser. It lasts for a while too, definitely recommend, this is a such a favorite!
