Perfect but only on its own
I bought this as I love glow recipe skincare - it’s worlds really well with my skin however this does pill a lot. I’ve found though it works perfectly and doesn’t pill if I don’t use moisturiser/ serum before (no matter how long I wait before applying this it pills). On bare skin it works perfect for me and sits fine under makeup and as it has skincare infused I don’t actually find my skin to be dry in the evenings this actually provides a light hydration. If you have this already try no skincare underneath! If you are thinking of getting this I would maybe pass if you won’t be able to go without your normal moisturiser.

Awful pilling :(
The texture of this is perfect however it starts pilling once applied to the skin. I’ve applied it as the last step in my skincare routine before make up and also after cleansing on bare skin; it pills regardless! Glow Recipe make some great products however the sunscreen is a flop in my opinion. Surely it would have been tested numerous times before hitting the shelves.

Ok for no makeup days
This is an ok suncreen with a nice finish, it doesn't leave a white cast. It's a bit thick and it sometimes pilles a little even on its own, if you use too much of it or if you use too much of the product before that. On it's own, on "no makeup days", it's perfect. But it's absolutely a no go under makeup because, girl, it will pill. A looot! And it does sting my skin around the eyes (and I don't even go too close to the eyes). So is it worth it for that price? Absolutely not. So many better options out there, which are cheaper, lighter and don't pill.

But I actually really like it! It does not pile on me, I have been using it for around 3 weeks now and also tried it with different products usually as a 4 step routine: toner > serum > moisturiser > sunscreen or sometimes I reduce it to 3 steps and it hasn’t piled once. It must be a specific ingredient it reacts to because I used it not only in combination with glow recipe products but also other brands. Goes on lovely, hasn’t broke me out or made me look oily during a day. However I must mention that I don’t use “2 finger” method to measure the sunscreen, I only apply around 1 finger length of sunscreen

Bit tricky but works!
I adore this, love that theres a SPF with niacinamide and it works fine under makeup aslong as you do the application properly. I use the standard 2 finger lenght of SPF and massage it in properly( roughly 40-60 secs, this is crucial) and it wont pill or leave a whitecast. If you only apply it and dont rub it in, expect it to leave a whitecast and pill amost instantly
