Has Potential
I’ve tried so many sunscreens, some work really well others don’t, I do think this one has a lot of potential but right now it’s not quite there. I love the light texture, the scent and the packaging is Shelfie worthy! My biggest issue is that it bills so badly. I put this on my skin and gently rubbed and patted it in but it just gathered in clumps all over my skin. I think Glow Recipe should go back to the drawing board and look at reformulating this, if they do I would be happy to try it again but right now I feel like my money has been wasted on a product that isn’t quite there.

Formulation pretty poor
I’m obsessed with all glow recipe products however, this time I was so disappointed. Like everyone’s comments, this sunscreen causes excessive pilling when applied. I’ve even let the rest of my skincare settle before applying and it’s so bad especially under makeup :( sad to write this review because they’ve nailed every product otherwise. Just needs the formulation improving however It is still lightweight and not greasy which lead me to wonder as to why the product pills so much.

Ideal Sunscreen
I genuinely love this sunscreen. It leaves my face feeling soft, protected and glowing. By patting it on top as my last step in my skincare routine, I've not experienced any pilling. I don't wear make-up however, so cannot comment on how it layers. I have sensitive skin and this does not cause any issues. This is the first Glow Recipe product I've tried, I can't wait to try more!

Pilling!!!
I was super excited for the glow recipe Sunscreen, it spreads well and the white cast disappears very quickly. However, no matter what skincare I apply underneath the Sunscreen or even if I wait 5/10 mins for it all in sink in before applying the sunscreen - it pills! Really disappointing as I thought they would have formulated it better and so it can be used with glow recipe skincare easily.

I can't seem to prevent this product pilling on my skin, even waiting after applying any other product (or not applying any others at all) and making sure to pat instead of rub. The less I use the less it pills but then I feel as though I'm just not using enough to be protected. I look like my skin is shedding constantly whilst wearing this, would not recommend spending money on this.

I love this so much! I saw some people complaining about pilling but I’ve found that if you use a light moisturiser first, let it sink in for 5 mins and then PAT the SPF on top (before primer if doing makeup) it works amazingly. I’ve had no issues and my skin looks really good wearing it

Not worth the money
Was excited about this as I love this brand and thought they would do a good job with an SPF. I do like the added ingredients but no matter what I have done it won’t stop piling on my face! I have let my other skincare products dry into my skin before applying AND I have patted it in as it says to do and there will still be piling on areas of my face. It’s very annoying have to wait until your other products have sunk in to apply it and then when you do it’s a mess!

I absolutely adore this sunscreen, I’ve been waiting since they first dropped hints that it was coming and it was worth the wait!! Even with oily sensitive skin I found this a dream to put on, I actually have a glow! The only thing is that I imagine if you use loads of heavy products before then it might not sit well, but I use a toner and a light serum and all is well!

Strangely, mine smells nothing like watermelon. It's not unpleasant, but there's no hint of watermelon, which is a shame. I've also been spoiled by the Thank you Farmer factor 50 sun cream - it's lovely to apply and leaves a beautiful glow. This is not so lovely to apply, I'm guessing because I'm used to a chemical SPF, and this is a mix of mineral and chemical. It sort of drags on the skin, and leaves a residue on my hands that makes me feel the need to wash them straight after apply. It does leave a slight glow, and I'm sure it's better skincare wise than Thank you Farmer, but I probably won't repurchase.

I would love this if you didn’t have to faff around with the application to stop it from pilling, which it will do if you apply it any other way than patting it on . Ingredients are great and the texture is lovely . It’s not the most easily absorbed either and you can’t just apply make up straight away give it 10/15 minutes to sink in ! There are other sunscreens I’d go to before this one but for ingredients and the lovely watermelon scent this is just ok !
