Effectively capturing those minerals that can dry your skin and give way to soap scum, as well as filtering bacteria, impurities and chlorine, this screw-on filter (don't be deterred, it's super easy to fit) effectively improves the quality of the water flowing over you so you can enjoy smoother, softer skin and hair. How does it work? The sleek tool has stainless mesh to capture sand and other sediments; calcium sulfite to remove chlorine; KDF 55 to target minerals and residual chlorine; granular activated carbon to remove bacteria, mould and odours; finally, ceramic beads help to balance your shower water's pH level. Remove the white and blue caps, then unscrew your shower hose from the tap. Attach the filter to the bottom of your shower tap. Then re-attach your shower hose. Tighten both sides to prevent leakage. Run your shower water for 1 minute and that's it.

Super effective
I live in a part of London with particularly hard water and this has made a huge difference. My hair is so much shinier and doesn’t get greasy as quickly. It’s easier to style too. I noticed a change after the first wash. It was also very easy to set up. I only took off a star because it can become quite expensive as the filter has to be replaced fairly regularly - although that’s probably because I live with 3 friends so we use it quite a lot between all of us. I definitely think it’s worth it, though!

What a difference
I love my hair and trying new shampoos but I have recently started spending a lot of time in a town with limescale and hard water. Would Not Recommend
I thought the reviews saying ‘it doesn’t fit our shower’ would NOT apply to me, given HelloKlean’s hefty claim that very rarely does it not fit the UK showers. Would recommend cheaper and perhaps better alternatives from other companies for more than half the price. Don’t think HelloKlean is worth the big bucks. Low on value for money and convenience.

Tools required
For some this may not be relevant, however, I had to get a pipe wrench to fit my filter. Also read the instructions from the brand properly as you’ll need to ensure that your water pressure isn’t too strong (above 80 psi), and you can’t attach if your shower valve is attached to the wall or less than 35mm. Just FYI! :)
