Though hard water is just freshwater infused with minerals that offer health benefits, those same minerals - like calcium, magnesium, iron, nickel and copper - can prevent the surfactants in your shampoo from lathering, and contribute to buildup. Effectively capturing those minerals that can dry your skin and give way to soap scum, as well as filtering bacteria, impurities and chlorine, this screw-on filter (don't be deterred, it's super easy to fit) effectively improves the quality of the water flowing over you so you can enjoy smoother, softer skin and hair. How does it work? The sleek tool has stainless mesh to capture sand and other sediments; calcium sulfite to remove chlorine; KDF 55 to target minerals and residual chlorine; granular activated carbon to remove bacteria, mould and odours; finally, ceramic beads help to balance your shower water's pH level. Remove the white and blue caps, then unscrew your shower hose from the tap. Attach the filter to the bottom of your shower tap. Then re-attach your shower hose. Tighten both sides to prevent leakage. Run your shower water for 1 minute and that's it.

Say goodbye to instant dry skin
Ever since moving to the UK, my skin feels like the Sahara desert every time I jump out of the shower I didn't realise how bad it was until we plugged this Lil sliver powerhouse in. It has been a week now and my skin is softer and less white dry patchy annoyance which I love. Yet to see the effect on my heavily temperamental hair but if I have already noticed my skin my weekly hair washes are going to be nothing but joyous. Super easy to install without any dramas and is not obtrusive in the bathroom decor either. Super happy with my new purchase.

Frizz Fighting Friend!
This filter is simply incredible! As someone who suffers from both frizzy hair and oily roots, what a difference this has made. Super easy to install, hard water and all it’s associated nasties are gone in seconds. I could not believe the difference I noticed in my hair after one use. My frizz has finally been tamed, something I never thought I’d be able to say, and my hair stays cleaner for longer without the need for dry shampoo.
