I thought I loved this but it leaves white flakes behind
I have bought this a few times, as its so gentle on the eyes and brightens the eye area but it always leaves white flakes and they get stuck under my make up

I used it over the summer for extra SPF around my eyes. The texture is quite thick, but it’s not that moisturising so I wouldn’t use it in winter. Some light reflecting properties, but not as good as actual concealer.

Not my favourite
I ordered this as I wanted an everyday eye SPF however I won’t be using this everyday. I find it very difficult to apply, if I dot it under each eye and rub or dab it in then it is so hard to blend and goes patchy and can ball up. The best way I’ve found to apply it is to rub it between my two ring fingers to warm it up then I dab it under each eye. If you apply too much then it doesn’t blend out properly and does settle into lines and the pink colour can be very obvious. I will only use this eye cream on particularly sunny days when I need to added protection otherwise I will just apply my usual facial SPF close to my eyes. It is even more mineraly than I expected, it has an almost grainy texture.

SPF for eyes
I am constantly on the look out for good SPF's that don't irritate the eyes. I decided to try this one from Hello Sunday. So far I've only used it for three days, I find that I can't use the amount I thought needed in one go, I apply it twice. It seems to melt into a nice finish, not drying, rather somewhat moisturizing. It goes on rather light, but no fear blend it in a little and it is invisible, at least on my light skin tone. Best of all, it doesn't irritate the eyes, no stinging, no tearing up. I do think I'd repurchase.

white cast, settles in wrinkles
This is not an eye cream with sunscreen, it's a very heavy mineral sunscreen that leaves a white cast all around the eyes, clogs in the eyebrows and settles in every little wrinkle around the eyes. I might wear this on a day at the beach but it's not suitable for every day use under make-up.

Doesn’t sting
Pleased with this eye cream so far, it doesn’t sting my eyes and it’s nice to have a bit of extra protection around the eye area as I’m getting older. The texture feels a tiny bit grainy as it’s a mineral formula and although it’s tinted it’s still very light, as I’m fair it helps brighten my eye area a bit, but I think it might be a bit obvious on darker skin tones.
