Committed to super-lightweight, invisible formulas - there's nothing like a white cast to put you off your SPF - Hello Sunday believes in year-round sun protection that will feel like second nature in your skin care routine. Speaking of nature, each of the formulas are free from substances that are known to harm sea life, such as homosalate, octinoxate, benzophenone and oxybenzone, as well as being vegan and cruelty-free!
Does anyone else have flashbacks of summer days as a child, running around with smeared, white sunblock all around your mouth? It wasn't a pretty picture... but lip protection doesn't have to look like that. That's where Hello Sunday's The One For Your Lips - Fragrance Free Lip Balm SPF 50 comes in; this totally transparent balm boasts an impressive SPF of 50 (!) to keep the delicate skin on your lips plush and protected.
Packed full of skin-loving ingredients, the Hello Sunday sunscreens bridge the gap between sun protection and skin care, in the way they condition and enhance your complexion. Take this lip balm – it's made with hyaluronic acid (the beauty industry's favourite hydrating ingredient) as well as squalane and shea butter to grant a supremely soft finish. As if all that wasn't reason enough to adore this skin-shielding salve, it's now fragrance free for those of us sensitive to scent.

The one I will buy again and again
Was so pleased to find this little gem offering SPF50 protection and at such an affordable price too! This balm feels so hydrating on the lips and leaves a lovely subtle gloss effect (I have even tried over lipstick and it works a treat). I love the floral fragrance, so summery and fresh. I’ve almost run out due to using pretty much every day since purchase so will definitely re-buy…£5 is such a good price!!!.

Good & Bad
Pros: reasonably priced, contains SPF 50, lovely texture, nice and hydrating on my lips. Cons: it has a strong somewhat unpleasant smell (eventually fades) the lid is a little rough on fingers to open, the applicator is not ideal when you’re out in public because you have to use your fingers to reapply

I'm torn
It feels good on the lips, I quite like the texture, and I don't hate fragrance, but the taste is bad. I can make it work if I let it sit for a while, but it still gets in the mouth.

Weird smell but good lip balm
The scent of this lip balm is honestly the worst I have ever smelt/tasted. It smells like a cheap Yankee candle, BLEH. If you can get past that, it's good. Perfect consistency for my lips stays on for long. Leaves my lips looking glossy and hydrated. BUT PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD CHANGE THE SCENT.

Strong smell
I was so excited to try this but unfortunately, the smell was so strong I felt sick and had headaches after putting them on (tried multiple times and the same thing happen) not sure if it's the same for everyone. The product seems to work wonders though, it's a real shame :( Looking forward to an unscented version of it! x

Totally worth £5
I love this lip balm! SPF50 and leaves my lips really soft. I love the smell of it, but like that the smell doesn’t stay on after you apply it. Will definitely buy again for that price.

Too sticky
I have to say this one sadly isn't for me. I love a good SPF lip balm but this one for me feels like more of a 00s sticky lipgloss than a lip balm. The scent is also too strong for my taste. The price point is great but sadly this one didn't quite work for me.

Decent
Very accessible price point, which arguably makes the purchase worthwhile. The product itself is nice. I enjoyed that it is very soft and melts right on, but I will say that I’m not sure how nourishing it is, especially after reapplying a couple of times and resulting in dryer lips. It is getting warmer so my lips are in a better state, but I would be more hesitant to pick it up in the fall/winter. Additionally, it is very fragranced so be careful if you highly sensitized to fragrance. Hope that the brand might consider making its products unscented.

Nice lip balm
This product is in-between a lip balm and a gloss which I like. Not too sticky which I like for summer doesn’t last on the lips for that long but I don’t mind reapplying, overall would repurchase as is rare to see an SPF 50 for a lip product especially for £5 and the tube is cute!

Nice...but!
This is such a *lovely* brand, the packaging is on point and anything SPF is always of interest! As much as I wanted to love the balm, it leaves quite a strong after-taste in the mouth. But feels super moisturising on the lips!
