Okay but not keen on the texture
Much like others I found the texture grainy when applying (even after shaking). At first I thought it was pilling but I tried it alone (not layered with any other skincare products underneath) and it still had a gritty texture to it. If you use less its okay but with SPF I try and use appropriate amounts for effective protection.

Lovely, but gritty
I actually really like this Primer. The packaging says it’s really smooth, which is deceptive as it’s suuuper gritty when you first apply it. It does say to shake well, and I do, but perhaps I need to shake way more? Anyway, once it’s rubbed in, it really does just dissolve into the skin, feels like a primer, and I immediately forget I’m wearing SPF. I’d have given it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the initial texture.

Great combination product
This dries down to a lovely velvety finish, no cast, ideal for going makeup-free - but drier skins will need to moisturise well before using this. I like to use a really rich cream before using this so I don’t look all shiny. It has a slightly grainy texture, but that’s fine. Good size for the price compared to similar SPF-primers.

I’m all for saving time in the morning so I was super excited to try this multifunctional SPF/primer – and it didn’t disappoint! A lightweight formula (albeit a little grainy in texture), it offers powerful UVA + UVB protection and was a great base for my make-up.

My new favourite
I love a hybrid product and this does not disappoint! With the protection of SPF 50 and the hydrating, mattifying properties of a primer, this product is true to its name and has it all. It's a beautiful texture and a little goes a long way and best of all it's ocean and reef safe without compromising on sun protection.

Not at all gritty
I was concerned about some people saying it was gritty but I haven't had that experience. It says to shake well before using so perhaps that's what might create weird texture that people refer to? It is very moisturising, high spf, and has stopped my make up sinking into pores. Will purchase again. I have sensitive combination skin.

I hate the texture as you apply , it’s sooo gritty but ….. omg my makeup looks and stays amazing with it so it’s worth it. People saying don’t use too much that’s fine as long as you are applying two fingers worth of another spf before hand . Never ever scrimp on the amount of spf you use . I can use 2 fingers of this and have oily combination skin, I just work it in to my skin abit longer . Just wish it didn’t feel so horrible when applying.
