Rubbery Feeling

Drying
I really wanted to like this, but it did not suit my combination skin. It felt very drying on parts of my skin. I think this would work better for someone with oily skin.

Works for me
I have perioral dermatitis with oily skin. I’ve been using this bar daily for months and it keeps my skin balanced. I will definitely keep using it. I would imagine it may not work if you already have dry skin but I don’t even need a moisturiser when I use it.

Not good for makeup removing
I had really high hopes for this cleanser, and have been on the hunt for a solid cleanser. It smells really good and foams well - but I don't think I have ever used a product that removes makeup as terribly as this. I don't wear a lot of makeup, but even after three rounds with this, I have concealer left on my face. Don't recommend it.

Not bad
I’ve had this soap for a good few months now and although I only use it at night to remove makeup it has lasted for ages!! It is quite drying but if like me you suffer with oily skin then it doesn’t leave your skin feeling too dry like other reviews. It removes makeup well and is a good price, I’d buy it again.

Great Cleanser
I was looking for a cleanser that didn't come wrapped in plastic so tried this soap out. I was really nervous about using soap on my face and had been putting the decision off for ages - I used to use soap when I was younger and it always caused breakouts, but not with this one! I've had absolutely no problems with my skin since using it with no break-outs beyond the annoying hormonal ones that don't respond to any skin treatment! Also, it lasted 10 months - that wasn't quite twice daily usage because I sometimes use micellar water and I had a few samples to use over Christmas, but it was much longer than I would have expected. It was also great for travel because suddenly I had one product for face and body instead of two. I would say that it would leave my skin feeling a bit tight and dry after cleansing, but most cleansers for me do and I avoid dry patches by using a good moisturiser. It also doesn't have the same luxury feel as cleansers I've used before, but given it's £10, lasts forever and comes wrapped in cardboard instead of un-recyclable plastics, I'm sold on it and getting my second bar now!

Isn’t bad but didn’t work for me
I brought this to try on my body as I occasionally have acne breakouts on my back and shoulders. It isn’t a bad soap and it does leave your skin feeling clean but it didn’t really do that much for me personally. Another thing is that it didn’t last long at all (I’m talking less than a week!), which I was surprised about as I read some reviews saying it has lasted a long time for some people, but maybe this is because I was using it on a bigger area and not just my face. Maybe if it had lasted longer I would have seen some better results?

Not so much for me
This bar smells lovely, lathers well and lasts a while, but I’ve had to stop using it on my face. I have combination skin but more on the dry side and it left my skin feeling very tight and delicate areas (e.g. around the eyes) became sensitive and sore - so much so that it stung to then use my vitamin C serum later on. That said, it’s excellent at removing makeup (and cleans my face halo brilliantly!)

LOVE IT!!!
I have used this soap for a couple of weeks now and I adore it!! My skin feels so clean, fresh and soft afterwards. I have oily, combination skin and it does allllll the right things for me. Price is a total bonus too as I feel like it’s going to last ages. Now to find a cute little soap holder....

Rash and dry patches on face
This is not moisturising this is drying and tacky and horrible and not much better than a cheap soap you get at the supermarket. Dry patches and inflamed skin . Never again
