In the Ottoman Empire, odalisques were slaves who served the wives of the sultan, often depicted nude and languid. Inspired by the opulence of this empire, Cire Trudon’s Odalisque candle unfurls like the indulgent, romantic scenes of an orientalist painting. The fresh, citrus head notes of lemon and orange spring out before blooming into the more floral scent of orange blossom. Wrapped in woody, aromatic wild juniper and sweet, seductive vanilla, lighting this candle is like laying on a feast for the olfactory senses.

Not the biggest fan of this scent
CT candles are of good quality, as always. However, with Odalisque, I found that the smell got a bit cloying after a while. Perhaps it is my personal preference with fragrance, but I would not be purchasing this one again.

Spa-like ambiance
A very worthy purchase. Intense citrus scents (not cloying ), that will leave your room smelling divine. I prefer to use it in my bathroom to create a spa-like experience. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that from this brand, Maduraï (Jasmine) is my 5! I'm a huge fan of candles, and this brand is by far my favorite. The glass jars make for ornamental pieces in the house too, win-win :)

Addicted!
This brand is more expensive than other brands on the site, but let me tell you the price is SO WORTH IT! I was gifted another candle from this brand before and loved it so I thought I would try a new scent. This one makes me think of a warm summer evening back home in my garden in the south of Italy. I light it when I get in from work and 1/2 hours is enough to make the house smell AMAZING! it burns evenly and lasts for ages. The first time you light it you have to make sure it burns for one hour at least so the full scent comes out. Love love love it! Wanna try the mint one next ❤️

Best quality, best scent, best best best
The quality and the scent totally justify the price. You light it for 30 minutes and your house smells divine. It lasts forever and has the best quality of wax I have tried. I buy mine twice a year and that's enough. This is a classic!
