Simple luxury and comfort
I obtained this as part of a Sali Hughes’ edit. I never thought I would look forward to using a relatively ‘staple’ , fragrance free moisturiser, having so many serums in my stash designed to cure a range of woes and luxuriously scented items. I love this. It has been a godsend during this long hot summer adding much needed hydration without feeling to be a sticky extra layer under my SPF. It is this I’m constantly reaching to for comfort through a current bout of Covid and a definite repurchase item.

Changed the Formular
I have been buying this product for years and this order I am disappointed to see that the brand has changed the formular. The reason I liked the product was because it was deeply hydrating and without any fragrance. I have only tried it once so far so I will give it a chance but I can already see the texture and formular is more oily and no longer has the cream to gel sensation giving that matte finish whilst being totally hydrated. Very disappointed that the product I knew and loved is no longer. I hate it when brands sell out and they overhaul the formular that made the product so successful in the first place.

Best moisturiser I’ve used but not the best value for money
I have repurchased this concealer countless times over the last two years, since I discovered it. It really keeps my dry skin hydrated. During the winter months however, it is not the best value for money as I personally had to use a lot more product which meant I was going though these tubs a lot quicker. Would recommend layering with another moisturiser in winter, but it’s fantastic otherwise!

I think I’m on my 5th pot, I really like it. Iv got dry and dehydrated skin and this is the best moisturiser Iv found. You don’t need loads and it’s really hydrating and maintains the hydration throughout the day.

It’s a no from me
Was really hoping to like this but sadly it wasn’t for me, here’s why. Yes the consistency was light however when applying it onto my skin it just felt weird and frictiony if that makes sense. Just didn’t feel like the cream was actually sinking into my skin and overall did nothing to it. Yes it’s good value but does nothing really.

Nothing extraordinary
Seeing the other reviews describing this moisturiser as “starting like gel, turning into water” - the formula must have certainly changed since then. Mine is a normal opaque cream, not heavy, not unpleasant - but nothing to write home about either. A good price point. But there are much nicer moisturisers at comparable or slightly higher prices. I’ll use up my jar, and won’t repurchase.
