I almost didn't purchase this because of the hefty price tag but I'm so glad I did. I've been testing lots of new makeup in preparation for my wedding and I was looking for a powder that wouldn't leave me looking flat and matte. I love all 3 of the powders that come in this palette. I use the lighter one to brighten under my eyes, the middle shade for the rest of my face and the deeper shade to bronze. I am medium-tan if this helps for shade reference

As with all Hourglass products, the ambient lighting palette volume 2 is perfect! I have light to medium skin tone and I feels these oculars are prefect for me. and I apply this most days to give my skin a flawless finish. My preference is to sweep the brush across all 3 colours and apply as I would a bronzer. The lightest colour is nice to apply under the eyes. The powder is weightless and gives me a glowing complexion that looks perfect. I am onto my 2nd palette and know I will purchase a new one when this is finished.
