Starting at the base of the lashes, pull mascara brush straight through from root to tip. One application provides an instant effect, but additional coats add intense definition, length and lift. To remove, splash warm water onto eyes. Gently use fingers to lift mascara from the lashes.

Worth the money
Saw a beauty influencer review this on Instagram and thought I’d give it a try ! Little bit on the pricey side for a mascara but my god it’s the best mascara for lengthening and literally lasts all day ... for a 12 hour shift at work it lasts and doesn’t smudge or budge !

Nice but not nice enough
I am a tubing mascara fan since I started to wear makeup. My expectations are high but have HG mascaras which can deliver every single time. I prefer the Japanese formula over Korean (not a fan of crumbly bits), like when the curl of my lashes lasts the whole day. When this mascara launched I was back and forth whether to get it silicone brushes are not my friends. After many weeks I purchased it. When I tried it I did not expect a lot. And in all fairness it feel like Blinc 2.0 in a fancy tube. It lengthens but does not hold my curl as the formula is a tad too wet for my liking, which is going to change as I use it, so it is a not a big deal. My deep set eyes got mascara stained regardless whatever I tried. I have rather a lot of lashes and this mascara every so slightly clumps them. It removes with defined tubes (as opposed to just ink and crumbly bits) so all in all I was ok And now onto the curious part. It photographs like a DREAM, on video calls looks stunning! Don't know what it is but as far as I am concerned it is magic. Based on this aspect even if it is not really my HG mascara, it most certainly earned a permanent place in my makeup bag.

Good mascara for day to day
I really enjoy this mascara. The product itself feels really heavy and luxurious which probably adds to the higher price point.. so its very aesthetically pleasing if you’re into that... however, the mascara itself really lengthens your lashes, separates them fantastically and does not smudge in the slightest. I also have never used a mascara that is so good for my bottom lashes!! The only thing i would say is it does not thicken your lashes. But i have been using this as a first coat and then going over top with a more thickening mascara and my lashes have never looked better!! But i think this mascara really makes the difference.

I always struggle to find the right brush that suits my lashes but this brush is just perfect. Lovely sophisticated tube. Well worth the money. Highly recommended

Needed a new mascara after mine ran out before lockdown and decided to try something new based on good reviews which lead me to purchase this one... I couldn't be more pleased! I have naturally long, quite dark lashes so wasn't sure how much it would work on me... not sure I'll ever need another mascara! My lashes go to double the length, stay curled (just from the mascara, not a lash curler), and super dark so very impactful. No residue on my lids or under eye either when have worn all day. Very impressed!

Disappointed
I agree, it doesn't smudge because it's a tubing mascara. However, it doesn't lengthen. Nor thicken. It's quite a lightweight mascara and would be good for a 'no makeup' look. It barely holds the curl. I am quite disappointed. I think if you have natural long lashes, it would work on you. But not for short asian lashes. Clinique Lash Power tubing mascaras do a better job at thickening and lengthening.

The better sister
I adore almost every product Hourglass makes, but their other mascara - the Caution Extreme Lash - isn't one of them. Even though I know it's the favourite of brilliant makeup artist, Caroline Barnes, it just didn't float my bateau. So I tried their latest launch, 'Unlocked' with a healthy cynicism.This mascara stays put on my oily eyelids and doesn't transfer to the outsides of my deep-set, now slightly overhanging, lids even during a rather sweaty Yoga sesh it stays 100% in tact. It also removes incredibly easily with a couple of splashes of warm water. (check, check) Then we get to the fun bit - this is the best tubing mascara I've tried for volume, which is generally the failure of tubing mascaras. It builds and builds for a full (south american sized) Spider effect, if you want it. And the packaging... just sooo chic too as always. Reassuringly heavy.

Surprising
I am a bit of mascara addict. Always looking for something that I didn’t think existed. Until now. The first time I used it I wasn’t sure but as I got used to the product I began to love it. Length and volume, no make up remover required, only water. No Smudging either. I absolutely love it!

My old mascara? I don't know her
If there’s one beauty product that I’m loyal to, it’s my mascara. I’ve fallen victim to some seriously flaky formulas in my time and I usually think it’s just not worth the risk of experimenting with a new one. Enter the exception to the rule: this Unlocked Instant Extensions Mascara. This baby certainly does not flake, smudge or transfer, instead, it gives the most beautifully fluttery lashes that can be built from demure, everyday definition to ‘out-out’ drama. LOVE!
