Starting at the base of the lashes, pull mascara brush straight through from root to tip. One application provides an instant effect, but additional coats add intense definition, length and lift. To remove, splash warm water onto eyes. Gently use fingers to lift mascara from the lashes.

Surprising
I am a bit of mascara addict. Always looking for something that I didn’t think existed. Until now. The first time I used it I wasn’t sure but as I got used to the product I began to love it. Length and volume, no make up remover required, only water. No Smudging either. I absolutely love it!

My old mascara? I don't know her
If there’s one beauty product that I’m loyal to, it’s my mascara. I’ve fallen victim to some seriously flaky formulas in my time and I usually think it’s just not worth the risk of experimenting with a new one. Enter the exception to the rule: this Unlocked Instant Extensions Mascara. This baby certainly does not flake, smudge or transfer, instead, it gives the most beautifully fluttery lashes that can be built from demure, everyday definition to ‘out-out’ drama. LOVE!

So disappointed
I never normally write reviews , I’m always quite optimistic and give a lot of products benefit of doubt and I try A LOT of beauty products . But I’m SO disappointed with this I felt like I had to write a review . I’m personally baffled as to how it’s got such good reviews . It clumped my eyelashes together , it didn’t separate them , it made me look like I had about 5 eyelashes , the more I tired to separate them the more they stuck together . I took it off and tried again thinking maybe I applied it wrong but the same happened and after 3 uses it was not looking any better. After a few hours of wearing it made me look like I’d got black eyes too, so it’s now going live at the back of my draw . It’s even more disappointing that it’s so expensive! Don’t waste your money , don’t buy it .

The best!
This might be my forever mascara. It doesn’t smudge, it’s easy to remove, holds a curl, lengthens my lashes PERFECTLY without clumping and the wand is a perfect size and shape. Highly recommended!

The best mascara I've ever used.
As a generally sweaty person with slightly hooded eyes, most mascaras don't stand a chance either flaking or transferring throughout the day. I wore this out for about 6 hours in on/off rain and it didn't smudge a bit. The wand is also a perfect size for coating both top and bottom lashes perfectly. This paired with my Surratt eyelash curler is EVERYTHING!

Amazing!
The only mascara that doesn't smudge on me! Very easy to remove and looks beautiful on the lashes. this mascara doesn't giving volume, but I get compliments every time I wear this mascara.

Perfect mascara
This is the best mascara I’ve ever tried! I struggle with oily lids and under eyes and every mascara smudges on me, even waterproof so I had resigned to not applying it on my lower lashes. This mascara doesn’t smudge at all, I can even sleep with it on with no smudges! It’s ridiculously easy to remove with just warm water, I use a warm flannel to press on lashes for a few seconds and then gently pull off the tubes, no makeup remover or rubbing needed. It also gives amazing length to my lashes and can also be built up for volume, but make sure it hasn’t completely dried before applying a second coat or it may start to clump. This is seriously perfect and worth the high price tag and I will keep repurchasing!

Wow!
I wasn’t sure if this would live up to the hype but! WOW. I have mid length lashes however they are flat and I have had lash lifts to open them up. Well, no more! This mascara was easy to apply and build and left me with a lifted lash look. So impressed! Thanks Hourglass ❤️

My new go to!
Settle in friends! So, anyone who knows me, knows that I am extremely fussy when it comes to my lashes. I have to curl them religiously before mascara goes anywhere near them, straight lash girls will know the struggle! I then need to use a special primer specifically to hold the curl, otherwise the minute I put my mascara on they drop and go sad and straight again and ruin my beautiful curl :( Then finally I go in with a tubing mascara to prevent smudging and give me volume. Tubing has always been my go-to mascara type for not smudging, but I've always wanted a mascara that held the curl too. I tried this as soon as I got it into my eager little paws, and thought while working from home I may as well see how it fared on its own without my trusty primer. This holds curl pretty well considering my lashes are so straight naturally! I curl my lashes and apply this and find they're still pretty curly several hours in. Not the same as if I use my primer but still impressive. I think in winter this will be perfect with less humidity around! It's not the most volumising, but it's not meant to be, I find you can get a good volume at the root just wiggling the brush in there before working through the lashes. I do find this smudges on really hot days or when I get sweaty in a workout, but that's to be expected as it will come off with water. You can leave this more natural, or layer it up for a more dramatic finish which I personally love. Your lashes still feel flexible and soft to touch, no crunchy damaged lashes here! Removing this is a dream, it just melts off with water in the blink of an eye! The packaging is absolutely gorgeous as with everything from Hourglass, and the brush itself isn't overloaded with product either so you don't get that annoying excess on the end of the brush itself. It's a plastic applicator which I prefer. This is probably now in my top two favourite mascaras of all time and I would definitely repurchase.

Best Mascara for short curly eyelashes
I am a dark skinned lady and this mascara is so good that you can layer it couple of times with no flaking and no clumping. I love it and dare say it is better than the latest gucci mascara and Huda Beauty as I have them all but this wins them all. It makes my short lashes look fuller and longer and I can wear a full face of makeup without the need to wear false lashes. Thanks Hourglass for this!
