My favorite

I have this one in Cave and absolutely love it. It’s very long lasting and looks great

It’s ‘OK!’

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

This is my first of this relatively new eyeliner. I like the colour and consistency but I do wish the point could be sharpened. It’s difficult to get right into the lash line. I think it’s pricey for the quality you get so doubt I will buy again.

Stays all day!

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have deep brown eyes, but this colour is softer for my eyes than black or dark brown. I wear it under my bottom eyelashes and along my top ones, and the line stays all day. I love the slight flecks of gold in it too. I'm on my second one and will continue to purchase this one.

Budgeproof

Cannot fault this liner, I’ve got the colours Chestnut and Cave. They blend like a dream for a lovely Smokey look and do not budge until removed with makeup remover. They also don’t leave you with panda eyes in the morning. Will definitely purchase more colours.

Shade Forest - Lovely but specific

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

I was excited to try shade forest which on the skin is a muted green, I do find this is great for very specific uses and to get the most out of the coloured option you will want to develop a more bold look and go for a thicker line. This applied super easily and I like the componantery but it did take me a few uses to find my step with this, so you may want some experimentation before opening night!

My new go-to liner

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

An ultra-pigmented formula that doesn't irritate my sensitive waterline. The super creamy texture glides on like a dream and lasts all day framing the eyes perfectly. I love that the componentry is in a twist-up form so I'm never caught short without a sharpener like I am with most liners.

Disappointing

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

This is the first of many Hourglass products that has been a let down. I bought it specifically because it's supposed to be waterproof...Not on me it isn't! It It's actually far worse in this respect than cheaper products that are not marketed as such. It doesn't stay put and smears everywhere.

New fave

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I was so excited to try this new eyeliner out as I love the Hourglass 1.5mm Mechanical Gel Liner but everyone who has tried it knows that there is not loads of product inside. I can confidently say that I have been using this liner almost every day for a couple of months now and it seems like I still have plenty of product left. The formula itself is creamy and easy to blend before finally setting in place. If you want to create a really defined wing then it won't be the easiest formula to work with but not impossible.
