Non-drying, featherweight, densely-pigmented and with a statement foil finish, theres nothing about Huda Beautys Liquid Mattes - Special Effects were not obsessed with. Already causing a furore (weve been completely inundated with requests for these lip lacquers), the silky formula applies like a lipgloss then dries in moments cloaking your pout with a smooth, kiss-resistant veil of vibrant colour that wont smudge, flake or transfer. Enriched with nourishing ingredients, there are two standout shades choose from the coppery pink 'Socialite' or the ruby slipper-red 'Showgirl'- but be warned! Hudas tips for the perfect pout:
1. Prep your lips: To improve consistency of application, gently exfoliate with a lip scrub. Blot off any excess oils.
2. For maximum impact, line lips using the Lip Contour and fade towards the center.
3. Apply a thin layer of Liquid Matte in the corresponding or lighter shade to fill in the rest.
4. Allow approximately 30 seconds for color to set and intensify to an opaque finish. Color appearance may vary based on skin tone.

Gorgeous
Both shades Socialite and Showgirl look really gorgeous! They feature the matte formula with gold/silver flakes and the effect is Iike using a HB matte + a HB lip strobe but without that annoying feeling of the strobe killing the life of your matte. I just wished there were more shades because they're really wow and last hours!

Glide easily
The colour turn out to be DAMN GORGEOUS on my lips. It doesn’t smudge. It makes my makeup look soooooo beautiful and makes me look young.

Beautiful colour
I got Socialite in the pink mini matte set and I love it. It's a thinner formula to the other mattes in the set but thats only so it doesn't look so heavy. Two light coats looks amazing, so lightweight and the colour is stunning. Would definitely recommend.

Socialite and showgirl
Got both the colours in the mini sets. Showgirl is amazingggg. Socialite doesn't work well with my skin tone, BUT icon topped with socialite is magic, pure magic.

I was very impressed, its goes on really smooth (feels like a lip balm) then drys really quickly and stayed in place most of the afternoon. I liked the fact you didn't feel like you were wearing it. I hope they bring out some more colours, as I'd definitely buy more.

Disappointed
I love Huda Liquid lipsticks, but the shade are not the same. It's darker and absolutely not peachy. I'm very disappointed.

Disappointed
Beautiful shade. I went for Socialite; it's so different to the other shades out there in liquid lipsticks, however I wasn't impressed with the staying power. A good 3 hours max :/ I have less expensive liquid lipstick that lasts 5-6 hours but I would like to add that it didn't dry out my lips at all so it's frustrating. I love it but just sad that it's not up to the standard I was hoping for with staying power :(

Got the shade Showgirl in the mini Matte set and got so many compliments on it. Staying power is amazing and has good coverage with one application. Huda Mattes are Insane.
