I recieved this lipstick in an advent calendar a few years ago in the colour "wedding day" and loved it so much, the colour suits my skin tone so well and I don't think I've ever liked a lipstick so much. A friend lost mine (the horror!) And I have not been able to stop thinking about it so treated myself to a new one. I had actually forgotten how much I love it. It feels so nice on the lips and has great pigmentation so you only need a little bit. My all time favourite lipstick and worth every penny

My 'signature' red
I have a LOT of lipsticks, a collection of over 100, and out of that about a third of these are reds, which have their own separate bag. It's safe to say that I love wearing a bold, bright, classic red lip with almost every eye look I do, so when I saw the shade Promotion Day was exactly the type of slightly deeper true red I prefer, I needed to add it to my collection! Whilst not my personal favourite (which is Pat McGrath Mattetrance in Forbidden Love) I have a close friend who is a big fan of my makeup and can not only tell the difference between very similar shades of red, but can identify this one from photos of me wearing it and each time tells me it should be the red I always wear! I agree it's a beautiful shade, and while the formula isn't quite as matte as some, it's definitely up there with the better ones I've tried! I love the shape of the bullet too, it's stayed sharp longer than most, and the packaging is very nice - a magnetic sealing lid ensures there won't be any bottom of the handbag accidents, and the fact that each shade (I also have Masquerade and Ladies Night) has a different ombre colour on the casing is beautifully done so you can quickly identify which one you get, if you're an insane lipstick addict like me! On that note, I'm so scared of this going out of stock or being discontinued that I've bought two spares! I would highly recommend this range to anyone after a very good quality matte lipstick, it's a solid choice - the formula glides on, isn't drying, has fantastic staying power, and even the packaging feels and performs like a high end luxury product, for a lower price than several 'luxury' mattes I've tried from well known brands that are nowhere near as good as this! You will not be disappointed by these beautiful lipsticks!

Great consistency and colours
Huda Beauty's Graduation Day is one of the best colours around if you're looking for a chestnut brown with a tinge of merlot red in it to wear every day. I tried their Ladies Night shade when GD was not available. While it looks similar enough on my screen, it came out too bright red once applied to my lips. Still, one out of two is still fine by me, as I spent years trying to replace a discontinued favourite before coming across this brand.
