I love this palette! It is super cool and edgy and you can create a variety of looks ranging from a basic neutral eye to a full glam smoky look. Some of the shimmers perform like foiled shadows with no primer needed. This is a very versatile palette and I’m so happy I decided to buy it.

A winner for me…
I am an avid user of Huda’s palettes and have purchased them all since she started. I do however, favour her more cool toned palettes. I was on the fence about buying this as I had read that it wasn’t as cool a palette as it looked. Firstly, the formula of the mattes are totally different to anything else she’s done in the past. I checked the ingredients and they’ve certainly changed. I didn’t think they could be improved as I know the formula has been tweaked many times already in her palettes, but this is on another level. You only need to dip your brush gently into each pan, otherwise you’ll get unnecessary kick back and too much on the brush as it’s more pigmented than usual. The mattes apply so smoothly, blend so perfectly and more importantly, there was no fading over the day. I also noticed that there was no dryness on my 50’s eye lids, with very little accentuation of any fine lines, the best I’ve ever seen in a matte formula. Also, be aware the colours in the palette are different once applied to the eyelid, but I’ve had that before with Huda’s palettes. I’m a fair skinned, brown eyed blonde and I only wear cool tones, so I would add that ‘Liberty’ and ‘Heroine’ are not cool, nor are they neutral, they’re most definitely warm, so they will remain redundant for me in this palette. Another redundant will be the black, shiny cream ‘Grunge’. I dare say younger customers would find a use for that. The shimmers are beautiful. ‘Strong ‘AF’ which looks silver and black, marbled, is actually a beautiful deep purple shimmer, ‘stand up’ is a peachy, pink neutral shimmer. ‘Rebelle’ seems a brand new formula and is the stand out shimmer for me. It’s absolutely beautiful and with very little to no fall out due to a slightly emollient, yet powder formula. It’s also in my opinion, on a higher level to the special shimmers in Pat McGrath’s palettes. Very pleased I bought this palette and it’ll be a favourite for sure.
