If 2020's taught us anything, it's the significance of self-care - and nothing works to keep us fighting fit (and looking luminous) than supplements. Health is wealth and HUM Nutrition's here to help you win the wellness lottery with high-performing chews and clever capsules, triple-tested to ensure their purity and potency. Powered by bioavailable natural extracts, there's something for every requirement - whether you crave glowing skin, healthy hair or a vital immunity boost, there's a colourful jar with your name on it.
Feeling decidedly sun-starved? Here Comes the Sun to the rescue... Harnessing lichen-sourced vitamin D3 - an active form of vitamin D which the body is able to use most efficiently - HUM's super supplement aids the absorption of other necessary nutrients (like calcium).
In a recent study, Harvard's School of Public Health found that an estimated one billion people worldwide are deficient in vitamin D - a vitamin that's vital for bone strength, muscle and the immune system. Usually boosted by daylight - something we're often deprived of - taking a supplement helps to make up for our lack of exposure and these vegan, easy-to-swallow softgels are a brilliant, once-a-day option to bolster your levels (and optimise mood!) without UV exposure. Plant based and perfectly dosed, simply take any time (with a snack) and prepare to feel 'sunnier', inside and out.
Olea Europea (Extra Virgin Olive) Fruit Oil, Vegan Softgel (Modified Starch From Tapioca, Glycerol, Water), Vitamin D3 (As Cholecalciferol Lichen) 50mcg.
Contains NO: wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, fish, crustacean shellfish, peanuts, artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.
For the latest information, it is recommended to review the ingredient list printed on the packaging of the product prior to usage or consumption.
Take one softgel a day, at any time with food.
Results in 4 - 6 weeks.

Why so expensive?
I have been taking vitamin D supplements for years. I don't get why these are so expensive (for the numbers of capsules you get and the IU in each).

Little gels of sunshine
While this isn't something I necessarily see a difference with, being a pale Brit opposed to sunlight I know (and have been told by my GP) that I need to supplement my Vitamin D. These somehow have a really lovely taste to them, they're almost citrusy sweet, and while you don't chew them, it makes taking them all the more pleasant. I'm often put off being consistent with supplements (which is key) by a bad aftertaste. They're also super small and easy to swallow, so a great one if you struggle with taking supplements in general. I would much prefer to buy the same bottle but with a bigger fill of capsules, just to avoid feeling quite so wasteful, but that's nothing against the product itself...I just want more!

Not sure if they do anything
I'm not sure if these really do anything but they're easy to take. I echo what other people have said about the packaging, There's no need for such a massive bottle for 30 little Softgels. I hope Cult Beauty give feedback to their suppliers on this sort of thing, and maybe they could do more to stop stocking products that use high levels of unnecessary plastic.

Too much plastic
In this day and age you'd think suppliers would cotton onto the plastic crisis and adapt their packaging accordingly; sadly HUM do not. This plastic bottle was about 20% full of pills and the remainder was air - I do hope they invest in different packaging soon.

Not really worth it
The product itself is perfectly nice but I couldn’t believe the size of the plastic bottle they came in for 30 small softgels. I can’t see how they can justify it! I got them as part of a box and I won’t be purchasing.

Sunshine in a pill
I have a rough piece of skin on my face which is probably damage from the sun from when we lived in South Africa. I went to the doctor today, who I haven't seen for three years, and he told me to take Vit D. I had already bought a couple of bottles of HUM because I trust everything that CB recommends. I don't know what effect it is having inside but I thought that there was much too much plastic bottle for the 30 small capsules contained therein. I was so impressed when CB changed the packaging away from plastic.
