Why so expensive?

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have been taking vitamin D supplements for years. I don't get why these are so expensive (for the numbers of capsules you get and the IU in each).

Little gels of sunshine

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

While this isn't something I necessarily see a difference with, being a pale Brit opposed to sunlight I know (and have been told by my GP) that I need to supplement my Vitamin D. These somehow have a really lovely taste to them, they're almost citrusy sweet, and while you don't chew them, it makes taking them all the more pleasant. I'm often put off being consistent with supplements (which is key) by a bad aftertaste. They're also super small and easy to swallow, so a great one if you struggle with taking supplements in general. I would much prefer to buy the same bottle but with a bigger fill of capsules, just to avoid feeling quite so wasteful, but that's nothing against the product itself...I just want more!

Not sure if they do anything

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

I'm not sure if these really do anything but they're easy to take. I echo what other people have said about the packaging, There's no need for such a massive bottle for 30 little Softgels. I hope Cult Beauty give feedback to their suppliers on this sort of thing, and maybe they could do more to stop stocking products that use high levels of unnecessary plastic.

Too much plastic

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

In this day and age you'd think suppliers would cotton onto the plastic crisis and adapt their packaging accordingly; sadly HUM do not. This plastic bottle was about 20% full of pills and the remainder was air - I do hope they invest in different packaging soon.

Not really worth it

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

The product itself is perfectly nice but I couldn’t believe the size of the plastic bottle they came in for 30 small softgels. I can’t see how they can justify it! I got them as part of a box and I won’t be purchasing.

Sunshine in a pill

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have a rough piece of skin on my face which is probably damage from the sun from when we lived in South Africa. I went to the doctor today, who I haven't seen for three years, and he told me to take Vit D. I had already bought a couple of bottles of HUM because I trust everything that CB recommends. I don't know what effect it is having inside but I thought that there was much too much plastic bottle for the 30 small capsules contained therein. I was so impressed when CB changed the packaging away from plastic.
