Love this!

This is really nice and good for that flawless tan. I use this for too ups or when I want a subtle tan. Really buildable though !

Really soft skin and nice colour

I naturally have very pale skin, and this tan gave me a natural golden glow. It absorbed really well, and my skin felt super soft, the formula is quite thick, but I like this as it's very moisturising.

Mixed feelings

For reference I have very pale Irish skin and I find the IOP light tanning water gives me the perfect colour. I decided to try this product as my skin is dry and I wanted to try a more moisturising formula.   The first time I used it I hated it. The colour was too dark for me and the tan was patchy.  I put it in the back of a cupboard and discovered it again a couple of months later and decided to give it another chance- the second time I was less heavy handed in my application and I worked it in well with a tanning mitt and I really liked the resulting colour. I liked it so much I would consider repurchasing. It was however very hard to squeeze the product out of the bottle. In summary- nice moisturising formula, not really a gradual tanner as the description would suggest and anyone with reduced function of their hands would not be able to get the product out of the bottle

Big fan of this TAN

I love IOP and consider myself a huge fan of the Tanning Water, so when this hit site it went *straight* into my basket. First off, the smell is really lovely and the consistency of the cream is buttery - very much comparable to a normal, thick body cream. Upon application, the cream dissipates and goes on smoothly. I used the Tanning Water first and then followed with this after it had sunk in to ensure my first post-lockdown tan looked (extra) good. Safe to say, I'm a big fan of this combination and will definitely keep it up during the summer. I always apply with a light hand over elbows, ankles and knees (anywhere tan typically clings too) and I did get a small, noticeable amount of tan around the ankles but I know to avoid this area for me in the future when using.

Hmmm...

I like it, I don’t love it. First of all, I like the product itself. It went on nicely and it’s super easy for a tanning novice such as myself. However, I think the packaging lets it down. If you have dexterity problems, you’d find this difficult to dispense and use. Even without, I found it difficult to squeeze out the product. It also has that awful fake tan smell which does not fade! I will use this up but I probably won’t repurchase.

Wanted to love it - but sadly a no!

Big fan of the Isle of Paradise products in general and I would call myself a very proficient fake tanner. I took a chance on this despite there being no reviews and sadly, it's a big no from me. There is no colour guide - the cream is nice and thick, as you would expect of a body butter, but it's a minty-green colour so really impossible to see where you've been with it. The colour developed to a very orange, fake-looking tan colour. My ankles were an absolute disaster where I did the normal light "sweep" over the top, it looks like I've dipped my legs in something and missed my feet. Not sure how it fades out but hoping it fades out quickly. The only good thing is, it has some sort of skin-toning mechanism in it, and I put some on my face - it gives a nice glow there and does even skin tone, but I wouldn't chance it again after seeing the full development colour. Compared to other fake tans, there's not a lot to like about this one, sadly! :(
