Founded in 2014 by professional dancer-turned-self-professed skin care enthusiast, Jordan Samuel, this streamlined collection of hard-working heroes deserves every spot in your beauty routine. Developed to tackle the fall-out of everyday sweat and stage make up, his eponymous range marries soothing and nourishing plant oils and actives to keep your skin clear, calm and balanced.
Designed to perform, The After Show Body Cleanser extends the same ultra-gentle (but thorough!) skin-cleansing prowess of the bestselling After Show Cleansers from your face – all the way to your toes.
The key to a luxury bathing experience, this oil-based gel formula melts away grime as it cherishes skin with a medley of nourishing actives. Non-foaming yet thoroughly effective, this non-stripping cleanser swiftly eliminates everyday oils, dirt and make up while ‘feeding’ your skin so its comfortably plumped and hydrated. With sucrose laurate to achieve a moisturising cleanse, alongside sk-invigorating extracts of citrus and mango to banish the blues with their mood-boosting fragrance, this heavenly wash also boasts an abundance of hyaluronic acid – a true moisture magnet – to bolster skin’s ‘spring’ and promote a soft, dewy appearance.

Heavenly scent
Gorgeous smelling body wash, the scent reminds me of a beautiful citrus smell on holiday! I did find it went very milky quickly so didn’t always feel like the most effective body wash

Not for me
I love all other JSS products but not this one, sadly. It doesn’t lather well and feels like a lot gets wasted. I would say it’s more of a body conditioner than a shower gel/ body cleanser.

Wanted to love jt...
Wanted to love it but couldn't get to grips with it - wasn't anything special unfortunately and wouldn't repurchase. Still love the brand though!

The best shower gel
I absolutely love this shower gel, it’s really kind to your skin, whilst still giving you pampering. It’s hydrating, not heavy scent, and texture is not greasy nor runny. The only downside is the packaging, as it is really hard to get the product out of the tube once you are halfway through the product.

Learning curve
There’s nothing quite like this. I see this as a treatment to apply on your limbs (or anywhere that is dry) BEFORE you jump in the shower. When it gets in contact with water, it turns into a milk but leaves a moisture barrier in your skin, which means you won’t have to moisturise after the shower. You then have to follow up with your regular body wash everywhere else. If this routine sounds like too much hassle for you, then this isn’t for you.

Bliss from JSS
I cannot speak highly enough of this beautiful body cleanser. Firstly, the scent is beautiful - fresh with a lemon-sugar sweetness (not sickly). Secondly, the texture is lovely and goes from an oil to milk, leaving my skin feel moisturised, but not oily or greasy. My only criticism is that it would be great if it came in a larger size option. I would definitely repurchase.

Strange texture, but lovely on the skin!
This comes out if the bottle easily enough, but isn't the usual body wash texture. However it feels gorgeous on my skin, which is sensitive and reacts instantly to moisture loss. This product was great after my shower; my skin felt soft and comfortable.

I love this product
I tried quite a lot of shower gels and this is just amazing product, it melts on the skin and skin is afterwards like a silk

Life changing
I personally have struggled with body acne all my life. This is the only product that helps my skin to get rid of pimples in combination with Murad body spray! Well done! This is a masterpiece!

The other kind of body cleanser
This is not the kind of body cleanser to use if you’re after a thorough, immersive, chemical ridden foaming experience. Instead this is more like a nourishing cleansing milk balm which smells incredible and leaves skin soft and gorgeous. Not to be used with a luffa, but rather with hands and maybe a sponge. Would I repurchase? Maybe. I do think this needs to be renamed though - it’s not a traditional body cleanser. I dream of a foaming version of this.
