Over Hyped!

I bought this foundation seeing the flood of review videos on YouTube for this particular foundation. Some beauty gurus swear by it, one of them being Nikkitutorials. There is no doubt that this is by far one of the full coverage foundations in the market HOWEVER it breaks apart on your skin. If you are extremely oily or if you tend to sweat on your face (forehead, upper lips) you are in for a disaster. I don’t know why it happens but the foundation is very water/oil/sweat sensitive. The patchiness from breaking apart show quite awfully on the face since the foundation is so full coverage on the rest of the face. It’s also not very easy to fix. You will need a medium coverage foundation powder to fix the situation if it ever happens to you. So if you are a person who has very oily skin/ sweats a lot, and prefers translucent or blotting powders for touch ups, this really isn’t for you.

Excellent when used with special care.

I'm a pro MUA. love the coverage on this one. It's light and easy to apply and non sticky (compared to Huda Beauty recent counterpart). It's got a matte finish as stated. I bought 2 shades at first.. then I got 6 more.. and am building my collection for clients' different tones. This foundation is VERY pigmented/opaque hence the shades are tricky when choosing blindly. I'd recommend doing research and seeing swatches before buying online. Also it darkens as it dries (not an oxidation but simply physical nature same as when you use water colours for example, they're light and shiny and go matte and darker when dry) also the concentration of colour might lead some people to have a patchy effect on the skin if not dispersed in a timely fashion. my optimal way for myself (combination/open pores) -Apply primer (I use invisiblur) -Apply foundation (less than a pump, small dots all over and extra on coverage needing places) -Set with powder for t-zone only -Complete face makeup then setting spray. it lasts me 6 hrs. Thank you.

So disappointed..

I'd heard good things about this foundation when it first came out, so decided to purchase it. I have combination skin that is both dry and oily in my T-Zone which does make foundations a tricky thing for me but this was THE WORST. The colour, Sand, was very light so didn't match. As soon as I put it on it started to go patchy and very cakey, and checking it throughout the day was even worse. It separated loads, made my skin super oily and settled into my pores??? Would not recommend.

Disappointed

- Have tried applying this foundation with a brush and beauty blender but both times left my skin looking patchy - skin became really oily throughout the day and I have dry skin - even when setting the foundation when applying contour/blush it moves the foundation underneath making skin - colour was not very true to description. Ordered sand but was incredibly light and had strong yellow under tones - not warm or peachy!

Love it

Absolutely one of the best foundation for oily skin. I have very oily skin and I struggle a lot looking for liquid foundation that will stay intact for hours. This one is living to its full coverage and flawless finish. I will definitely purchase again.

Oxidizes

I bought the shade porcelain as I lean more on the neutral side, at first the shade is spot on, but oh my god after about ten minutes it goes ridiculously orange and dark, all my family was saying I looked like an Umpa Lumpa. Please do not waste your money.

The Fawn shade is really yellow. Coverage is amazing, but it doesn't last. After only 3 hours it starts to get oily and patchy. Also, it smells like medicine. I have combo skin which I primed, powdered and used a setting spray.
