An expensive mistake
This is a review based on 6 washes following the instructions. After so much research I finally caved in and invested in k18. I followed the instructions very carefully and even contacted their customer service as to which shampoo I should use. All it’s done is cause so much breakage to my hair, messed up my hair colour and created massive frizz, I’m going to have to get a keratin treatment to fix the damage.

A must for my frizzy hair!
I gasped at the price of this at first, but I was so fed up with my thick, frizzy, wavy hair, I thought I'd give it a try. I followed the instructions - apply through hair and don't touch for 4 mins, then I add my curl cream and wow! My hair is smooth with the waves and my curls more enhanced because of it. I only need 1 pump for my chin-length bob - I did overdo it once which left me a bit greasy, so less is more! I'm still on my first bottle, but as I can't see how much is left, I've bought a second one, so I don't have to do without. I'm now stuck buying this as it's changed my hair for the better!

K18 hair mask
I think my expectations were too high. I use Olaplex and love it but it does take time to use. When I read about K18 leave in (wait just 4 mins) then style I thought I’d give it a try. The first time I used it I used 3 pumps, as directed, but my hair (when dry) looked like straw. I tried next time using 5 pumps but this time my hair lacked lustre and was floppy. Not a product for me I’m sad to say.

My hair is extra fine, & coloured professionally I also have an under active thyroid that affects my hair. This is absolutely amazing! I wash my hair most days & also swim a couple of times a week. Within a week my hair was soft & shiny. Unbelievable. I always feel Olaplex treatments need a boost between salon treatments so the difference is K18 you are using every 3/4 washes. Expensive but for me worth every penny.

After reading all the great reviews I finally caved in and purchased this to help repair my fine, bleached, and heat damaged hair. I just wish I’d bought it sooner, because it’s absolutely incredible! It’s blown olaplex no.3 out of the water completely for me. I used it exactly as instructed, and in only 2 weeks it’s transformed my hair. It’s so soft and shiny, and has so much body! I’ve all but ditched my straighteners as I hardly need them. It’s so convenient to use as it’s leave in. Two pumps is enough for my long hair, comb through, wait 4 mins, then style as usual. I bought the 50ml bottle, and their website says one pump = 1ml, so I should get 25 uses from it. Yes it’s expensive, but 100% worth it for these results, and I won’t be without it now. I cannot recommend it enough!
