not as good as
it thinks it is I much prefer Virtue Recovery Conditioner or Olaplex no 8, both are SO much better than this. I have fine coloured hair and this does not help at all. Makes my hair flat not conditioned!

Total waste of money and ruined my hair
Absolutely awful; made my hair dry, brittle and frizzy and now more split ends, I contacted K18 who confirmed I used it correctly: clarifying shampoo first. I used it three times but the damage is now apparent when before it was much shinier, softer. I’ll stick with olaplex and 8 second miracle water! I wish I wasn’t sucked in by the hype, so expensive too

Ok, I get the hype
This stuff is brilliant! I usually have a Brazilian blow dry (also know as a keratin BD) but this is close to wearing out as my frizz has returned in recent weeks. I’ve used this once and saw an immediate improvement in the taming of my hair. Less fly aways, means I need less other products too. I can’t wait to use it repeatedly as it says you should.

First time use
I recently purchased this is the hopes to start looking after my hair. I’m 30 with fine, blonde, long hair, I’ve always coloured it, though always avoided bleach. I’ve never took care of my hair in the past, and only the past few months started using heat protection! I rarely straighten, but this last year I have been using my wavers often on the maximum heat! This is when my hair started to change for the worse, and it became knotty daily, dry, brittle and straw like. I’ve used this for around 3 weeks, and completely cut out conditioner. I was really disappointed as the first time I used this I was expecting a miricle though my hair felt the same, if not worse. (Although it didn’t feel as bad as just shampoo alone) I’ve now used this around 5 times in total, and my hair does feel healthier. It feels stronger and doesn’t get greasy! I am washing once a week atm instead of the the every other day I used to prior to using this, and I’m only needing to use dry shampoo once around the time it’s due the weekly wash. No conditioner is doing wonders for my hair, but I don’t think I could do it without using this in replacement. It’s not amazing to the point I’m blown away, but I do see improvement and I hope they keep coming.

This works well but not quite as well as Olaplex + for the size of the bottle not as good value for money either, its extremely expensive for the tiny amount you get ! Love the idea of a leave in treatment that doesn't need to be washed out but not enough to buy it again for this price I'm afraid !

Worked for me (well beyond my expectations)
I am post menopausal and suffer from hair loss related to that, my hair is also very fine and grey. It is prone to dryness and frizz, I dye my hair. To say that I could have bought a small house is not too much of an exaggeration in my quest to try and improve my hair. K18 is the first product that I have ever tried that has made such a dramatic improvement, from the very first use my hair was much softer and the next day I could actually comb my hair without snags and breakage. I still have all my challenges with my hair but at least now I can comb it, it is lovely and soft and much less frizzy. I am hoping that the longer I use it if I can have less breakage it might look a tiny bit thicker. I always use too much of a product and it really is hard to believe that you only need a tiny bit but I found less is actually more with K18. I have used it 6 times now and the real improvements seemed to happen after the third application. I think this product is meant for damaged hair so if your hair is healthy it probably wouldn't be as effective. It is scary at first (well it was for me) not using conditioner but one can leave in a leave in after 4 minutes so even for my hair it was fine. On the second application I think that I used a bit much product and my hair felt a bit dry, but even then after I air dried my hair it was still in much better nick than usual. I can understand why the price would put people off, but because it is so effective I think it is worth it.
