Making its much-anticipated jump across the pond (to debut in the UK exclusively on our online shelves), skin care doesn’t get more ‘cult’ than U.S. brand Kate Somerville. Powered by acne-busting sulphur (5.0%), this innovative gel-cream mask helps to clear breakouts, dissolve impurities and minimise the appearance of pores without – and here’s the magic part – over-drying skin. Unlike some stripping acne treatments, this foam-activated formula penetrates skin without disrupting its delicate balance, calming and soothing stressed complexions with an advanced botanical complex featuring honey and rice bran extracts.
Specially formulated to address acne, EradiKate Acne Mask by Kate Somerville is an innovative gel-cream formula that draws out impurities without over-drying skin. Utilising unique foam-activated technology (it foams on contact with the face and may tingle – just so you know it’s really working hard), the mask penetrates skin to dissolve impurities, dirt and excess oil. Sulphur 5.0% reduces the appearance of existing blemishes while helping to prevent future breakouts, gently exfoliating dead skin cells and unclogging pores without stripping skin or disrupting its delicate balance. To calm and soothe stressed complexions, an advanced, patented botanical complex is also added into the mix, including antibacterial honey extracts, redness-reducing boswellia serrata, sebum-balancing oat extract and rice bran extract, which hydrates and offers the antioxidant protection of vitamin E. Part of Kate Somerville’s best-loved EradiKate range – skin care doesn’t get much more ‘cult’ than this – this ingenious mask promises a clearer complexion for those battling breakouts.

Left on the bathroom self
I’ve used this over a course of two months but I no longer find myself reaching for it, hence being left on the bathroom self. I found it didn’t speed up the healing of any spots but it did’t Have any adverse effect on my skin either.

Leaves skin feeling so clean
I love the way that this mask 'fizzes' on my skin and I can literally feel it lifting the grime away. It leaves my skin feeling so clean but not at all dry. The only downside is that the bottle doesn't last as long as I would like it to for the price.

Horrible product
So I know there’s this big hype around this product, and I bought it because I really wanted to love it. Buuuuuut this is really bad, well it’s really bad for me. I’ve used it 3 times and each time it makes me a bit red and the day after I wake up with plenty of pimples. So this anti-acne mask does the opposite, it gives me acne. I will not use it again and I will rebuy neither recommend this to anyone.

FANTASTIC!!
I bought this with the cleanser from the same line. This mask does wonders!!! First of all, I felt like it sucked out everything out of pores or my congested areas. From the first use, I noticed that it reduced the size of my existing pimples. Wherever I had spots, the foam stayed put longer and I truly felt the mask working its thing. It also didn't dry my skin out yet it felt clean. I think it's a wonderful product for acne prone skin types. The only downside is that it's pretty expensive, other than that I highly recommend.
