It’s a NO
I was very excited before the first sniff, I thought I will find the perfect spring perfume but heck NO…. It’s not worth it! First of all, it’s not affordable and second it smells like a cheap soap/body-wash with citrus note. I am really sorry for being negative but I have all the Kayali perfume collection which are fantastic and this was unexpectedly bad bad!!

Reminds me of Coty or Lovely
There is an initial burst of citrus which is not too sharp or citrus (the top notes are still complex), then dries down to something resembling Coty or Sarah Jessica Parker's original Lovely which was also made by Coty. I layer this on top of Kayali's Elixir 11 (black bottle). I love the combined fragrance, it gives me Arabian Nights vibes. Citrus could easily be worn on its own for something fresh and light. There are high quality ingredients in this perfume - no headaches or allergic reactions to synthetic ingredients. I love, love, love the packaging. The bottle is so heavy and clear, it must be crystal and not glass. I'm giving this 4 stars because I like more citrus and less Coty, but it's still a beautiful creation. Well done to the Huda sisters!

Disappointing
So Soapy!! fresh doesn't mean that you smell like a laundry detergent.... I was expecting more from a promising description! Elixir (sample) seams more sophisticated!

Smells fresh
I like the scent but as like all the other KAYALI fragrances, I realised it has to be layered with another scent. I'd say out off all the KAYALI fragrances, this one would be the 'least delicious'... Maybe because I'm not too keen on citrus-y smells. I have found that it's really important for all the smells to be sprayed on the pulse points because it also really makes a difference in how long the fragrance lasts.

Reading all the reviews, I was thinking I will not like citrus at all but it is the most beautiful and different citrus available in market I love it staying power is amazing, I could smell it for days,I am surprise about negative reviews but again fragrance are very personal choices and lasting ability vary from person to person, for me, I do not like those orange lemon smell perfumes available in market,it's different, I wear musk with citrus and the combo is beautiful.

Disappointing. Weak scent and staying power
I was so excited for the release of Huda’s perfumes that I got my husband to buy two and myself the other two to complete the collection. Whilst the Elixir smell is quite unique, it’s nothing special. I expected the scents to be far stronger but they are quite light fragrances. The staying power is terrible. I wear Dior and Chanel both of which are in a similar price range yet Huda’s perfumes do not stay. It is so disappointing given the price range. The musk is very similar to the Body shop mist and in my opinion smells cheap. The vanilla is just a vanilla smell and nothing unique. The citrus is fairly better but is let down by the staying power. I am a huge fan of Huda and own all her makeup palettes but the perfumes are incredibly disappointing. I had huge expectations and expected Oud type scents. Do not recommend. Hopefully, Huda will read this review and ensure that the next perfumes released have a bit more oomph and possess a longer lasting scent.

Very disappointing. This perfume doesn’t smell like citrus or fresh as described. They are saying California beach babe is the vibe, I’ve never smelt this kinda smell on a California beach babe, I’d say this is more senior citizen vibe I will have to re-gift this to my gran it’s that kinda smell.
