Sweet Diamond Pink Pepper 25 is a floral fragrance with a twist; the top notes of pink pepper, bergamot, royal lily and saffron marry sweetness and spice, which is amplified by middle notes of rose, magnolia and vanilla orchid, finished with a woody base of patchouli, musk, amber and sandalwood. A contrasting yet complementary pairing, Utopia Vanilla Coco 21 perfectly blends creamy vanilla with tropical coconuts and sweet florals alongside middle notes of jasmine, tuberose and gardenia. Base notes of sandalwood, musk and patchouli balance out this gently comforting fragrance.

Before I became the huge Kayali fan that I currently am, I bought each of the rollerballs available to see which fragrance I liked. To be honest, I had very low expectations, I'm a perfume snob and in my experience, makeup brands and celebrities, with very few exceptions, make terrible perfumes. Obviously, I was completely wrong to have made that assumption, each of the Kayali perfumes (except for Musk, I try to forget that one exists - much like the scent of it ceases to exist minutes after applying it!) is delightful, complex, and well worth the price tag. This rollerball introduced me to two fragrances I definitely wouldn't have tried otherwise, I don't (or didn't think I did) like either coconut or vanilla in my perfume, but I certainly didn't like the idea of pepper! However, I absolutely loved the Utopia Vanilla Coco, which ended up being the second Kayali fragrance I bought and I'm now on my second 100ml bottle, and although it's not my favourite, I was pleasantly surprised by the interesting complexity of the Sweet Diamond Pink Pepper. I acknowledge that the price tag may put some people off, but you are truly getting a wonderful product here - the opportunity to try two offerings from Kayali, in a format which is easily slipped into a handbag or to travel with to top up on the go!
