Disappointing
I love the original Kayali vanilla fragrance, I love patchouli, so I was excited when this launched but it is not pleasant, the notes have not been blended well and it is headache inducing. It is stronger than other Kayali fragrance which is what you would expect from and intense fragrance but it isn't pleasant.

Prefer the original
I like it but, not as much as the original Vanilla 28. It doesn't last as long or project as much on my skin as Vanilla 28 or Invite Only. I can slightly smell the sugared patchouli but, it's not strong enough to make a difference on my skin. Because everyone's skin is different, it could be much stronger and nicer on someone else.

Great way to try the fragrance
I really like this fragrance but it does have some polarising notes (patchouli and oud) so possibly not a safe blind buy for a lot of people. With this in mind I think it's great that Kayali offer a 10ml bottle - a good way to try the perfume and very handy for travel

Alas, this is not for me. Far too much tobacco and leather for my taste. I was hoping for an elevated smooth, warm, sweet and seductive vanilla, but I just get Tom Ford Tobacco Oud which was even too tabacco-y for my husband. Great travel size and longevity though.

Oh wow… I am in sensual heaven
Wow I saw this and thought oh no I am alright…. But it was on my mind so bought it just before it sold out and I am SO PLEASED. I have the mini sampler of Kayali and have been testing them out. Was disappointed with the cherry it was missing a punch. But this is not only the punch it’s a total knock out. The box clearly states this in intense and it’s a heady sense which as the description states is a boozy fragrance which is spicy and warm and mixed with my just showered skin has blown me away. This will be my full size purchase fragrance of choice. I love woody fragrance my favourites are Replica Jazz club and Lush Lord of Misrule and this falls in line with these two but adds for me a feminine edge I was looking for. A totally worthy 5 star. How it lasts on the skin for me is fabulous, however this is individual and everyone’s skin is different in how it absorbs perfume and also our noses stop smelling a familiar scent after a while; we think we can’t smell it but people will comment on it or in my case start choking on my over indulgence of perfume I stopped smelling so sprayed more. Don’t doubt this but this travel size it’s perfect to try it out. Still not sure the KAYALI sampler is brilliant to try out the current range to see what your favourites are!
