Perfectly protective, this also offers heat defence up to a temperature of 200°F/93°C, so you can style without a care in the world. Suitable for all hair types, this restorative formula features strengthening hydrolysed keratin and hydrolysed green pea protein, moisturising jojoba seed oil, shine-enhancing bamboo leaf extract and repair-boosting papain (from papaya). Simply apply to damp or towel-dried hair and leave to dry naturally or style as desired. Working as a renowned editorial stylist, Kevin Murphy found that, as the day progressed, models’ hair would become heavy, dull and lifeless – so he developed his own line to prevent this from happening, which soon made its way from backstage secret to cult hair care classic.

Better products out there
I purchased this after my hairdresser used it on my hair, but after finishing the bottle - I can’t say it did much to my hair? You can get better for less money.

Works exactly as advertised and has a unique, but lovely, almost cinnamon smell to it. I've particularly noticed that its heat protectant quality works great. I've got thick, medium/long hair but I honestly don't need to use handfuls - just a two pumps for my hair honestly works great. The only drawback is for the price I think there's other pretty good leave-in conditioners out there.

Not silicone free, but does give great results
Bought to try something new after using Olaplex 6 for many years. This product does a similar job, and feels lighter in texture. Feel like I retain more volume with this Kevin Murphy product as opposed to Olaplex 6, while also killing frizz and my hair feeling soft, which is a great combo for me. I noticed a few reviewers saying it doesn't contain silicone, but it definitely does, dimethicone is the second ingredient on the list. It is free of sulfates and parabens, though.

Love love love
This is an excellent product, which I cannot stay without. I have used it for 1 year, my hair were fried from hear damage and bleach, it immediately repaired my hair from the first use. It doesn’t have silicone which means your hair will stay clean for longer. You can apply on wet hair but also touch up dry hair with it. I tried olaplex n6, it leaves your hair really smooth but you lose the volume and it has a lot if silicone. So I prefer to use this product more regularly although I’ll use a tiny bit of olaplex on dry hair from time to time if I want less frizz. But this one is the best for repair!
