If you long for razor sharp cheekbones but yours are a bit on the blunt side, Kevyn Aucoins The Sculpting Powder is all you need to fake a Kate Moss worthy pair. With a unique combination of pigments, this matte powder creates the illusion of shadows without looking chalky (or orange!). Just choose from three shades; Light, Medium or Deep depending on your skin tone (and the preferred intensity of the effect).

The Sculpting Powder is designed to sculpt and chisel your features without the obviously orange tones of bronzing powders. The three grey-toned shades are just right for accentuating natural shadows and there's no tell-tale shimmer so the definition looks believable. The finely-milled texture is great for undetectable application every time, and it is virtually impossible to overdo it (one of the main struggles when it comes to contouring), making this ideal for defining cheekbones, jaw bones or anywhere you feel needs streamlining.

ALWAYS apply this with good lighting - natural light is ideal. Apply lightly with an angled sculpting/contour brush wherever natural shadows would occur - cheekbones, jaw bone and nose (if you squint slightly so your vision is blurred when you look in the mirror, this will help you to identify the shadows better). Use a complementary highlighter where light would strike to help intensify the sculpted look.

This product is great for adding a subtle contour to your face. The shade is very natural looking, and a little goes a long way so the product lasts for ages. It also has good longevity throughout the day so you don't need to top it up.

Great shade, consistency, staying power

I have the shade Light for my fair-medium skin, which is great - it's definitely not a light light. It's a good shade - not 'orangey' like some others on the market. Some may think it is grey or muddy, I disagree - I think it's a more true brown depending on your use of it. If you get the right shade and don't use too much, it shouldn't look grey or muddy. It's small but lasts ages, again you don't need a lot if you choose the right colour but it has an incredibly limited shade range, which is why I took a star off

Very pigmented - don't use a heavy hand!

I'm pretty fair and the lightest shade is the perfect cool-toned contour for me. However, it's VERY pigmented and can be tricky to blend if you put a lot on, so don't use a heavy hand when applying! This does mean the product does last ages though despite its small size.

Best contour powder ever!!

I truly love this product due to its undertones and longevity. The grey undertone is perfect for the purposes of contouring rather than bronzing. A little goes a long way with this product. You only need a tiny swipe for maximum payoff so the powder will last a very long time.
