This is a nice lip balm. It gives your lips a hint of shimmer. I don’t find it very moisturising or long lasting. But mixed with something more occlusive it is nice.

Reminds me of cake mixture
I was looking forward to receiving this but I really hate how it reminds me of cake mixture and eating it when I was younger made me feel sick. So it massively puts me off! Eventually it subsides but this is a back up lip balm for me now. I do like the shine I gives and the texture is very light and now sticky. Shame as there are some good reviews!

Best lip balm!
I am very picky when it comes to everything and never tend to buy things twice as I am always looking for something better. This however is amazing! It is glossy with out being sticky. Has a nice taste to it but doesn't leave cups or glasses with any scent after drinking when you have applied it (a important quality for me in a lip balm). Makes your lips look so nice and shiny. I have now bought multiples to make sure I always have one on me. I highly recommend it!

Not right for me, sadly
Good texture, beautiful gloss effect, isn't sticky (yay!), but doesn't mouisturise my lips enough (they feel drier after the product has disappeared than before I'd applied any) and doesn't last long on my lips (I have to reapply this more often than other glosses). Have both the Clear and the Birthday Suit and prefer the Clear, as Birthday Suit is a more 80s-y pastel brown-nude tone than I was expecting from the photographs and sadly doesn't suit me.

View this product as a hydrating lipgloss/ lip balm, not a hydrating lip treatment.
The smell is amazing. Coconuty and sweet, but not sickly sweet or fake coconuty. Really lovely texture as well. It does not hydrate that much, but keeps your lips just plump and hydrating enough. I think you should view this product as a lipgloss/ lip balm. Not as a hydrating treatment. Going to try the other shade as well.
