Pores
I love tinted moisturisers, but this sits in pores and highlights dry patches.

Light, natural coverage
I bought this is two different shades and mix them depending on the time of year. Best to blend in with a brush over a beauty blender, and i found not as blendable with my hands. I love using on days where I just need a quick fix as its pretty undetectable but evens out my skin tone and does a really good job as neutralising redness. I do find that if i haven't exfoliated, the product clings to my dry patches a little, but overall a really pretty and dewy formula.

Disappointed
This really wasn't for me, I was super excited when i bought this. But the consistency of the product is so bizarre, dry but oily. Looks quite cakey ok my skin

Great for summer
Bit of an odd one - this is matt on me (I have dry skin) and that would usually put me off BUT I did really like this during the summer/hot weather months. I knock off a point not because of that but more because of how kosas markets this (or doesn’t market this) - I’ve seen/heard many, many dry skin people say the same so I think that needs to be said by their team as part of ‘who it’s best for’. I don’t think see how this WOULDN’T be dry on dry skin people especially since even during hot weather (30 degrees+) I had to make sure to add an extra layer of moisturise to stop it from looking and feeling tight. FYI even in hot weather I need plenty of moisture just less thicker ones than the ones I use in cooler/cold weather.

I wanted to love this, but...
As someone who has dry skin, no matter how much I moisturised prior, I consistently found that this face oil gathered in patches on my skin and left an unflattering chalky residue. I usually love oils and enjoy some of the other products in the Kosas range, but this one was a disaster and I ended up throwing most of it away. An expensive mistake.

A brilliant summery base
As I get older I need more hydration and moisture to keep my skin looking good. The Kosas face oil is a perfect mix of skincare and makeup- it leaves my skin feeling quenched whilst giving a surprising level of coverage for such a light base. I only need a few drops to cover my whole face, and this blends really well. It also plays well with other cream and liquid makeup products, which blend well with this. The only drawback is that towards the end of the day, I find this can amplify the oils on my forehead a bit, and require being smushed in a bit more. But that doesn’t stop this being one of my very favourite bases, that feels like it’s doing good for my skin

Overpriced and Enhances Dry Patches
I really wanted to love this tinted face oil. I like its runny texture and light coverage. It does not feel heavy on the skin and is easy to apply. HOWEVER, it enhances my dry patches and looks textured around those areas. It also smells like an oil paint which is not so pleasant. I appreciate that the product does not have fragrance so can't complain about the smell. I think overall it is not worth the price.

In the bin…
Now this is a strange product : it‘s an oil and still manages to be drying and flaky for my skin, which is admittedly on the dehydrated side. I was trying to find the way of using it, but didn‘t manage : with prior moisturizing it was greasy and shiny - without moisturizing it was dry and flaky… The packaging is not a lucky one either : Kosas says you need to shake the product prior to applying, but the screw top is not tight enough so you shake out the product and it‘s messy if you unscrew the bottle. It‘s a total NO for me !

Not as expected
Excepted something really glowy and sheer but it was almost chalky. Won’t be repurchasing.
