Exemplifying this to a tee is this Tinted Face Oil, an ultra-lightweight foundation offering deep hydration, medium coverage and all-day wear. The make up equivalent to your comfiest sweatpants, this serum-like formula glides over your skin with a natural velvety finish that still looks like your skin. With 16 shades to choose from, all of which are infused with pore-minimising, skin-evening botanical oils, this silky formula suits a wide spectrum of skin tones.
Foundation, but not as you know it Kosas Tinted Face Oil has an innovative oil texture that grants instant hydration and nourishment while cloaking your skin in blemish-blurring, skin-evening mineral pigment.
It's blended with six active botanical oils think: hydrating avocado and meadowfoam, soothing jojoba, brightening rosehip, balancing camellia seed oil and reparative red raspberry to help minimise the appearance of pores while evening skin tone. Just as important as the ingredients in the mix are those left out; the vegan and cruelty-free formula is void of all kinds of chemical nasties including parabens, silicones, PEG or sulphates. Sinking in seamlessly and rapidly into your skin, this clever concoction is rather like a serum or moisturiser with added pigment, granting a velvety smooth finish while enhancing your skins natural glow. Amazing glowy skin
This tinted face oil gives my skin the most amazing dewy glow, and even though I have oily skin it doesn't leave my skin feeling or looking greasy.

Love alone or mixed!
My super dry skin loves this. Not much coverage, but gives just a bit when I need it. My favourite way to use it, though, is to mix it into my other foundations to help them work better with my dryness and thin out thicker formulas. A must-have for me!

This is INCREDIBLE
This tinted face oil gives you the perfect amount of coverage to still have that ‘no makeup’ makeup look. Leaving skin looking and feeling fresh and like skin! It’s not overly shiny for a face oil, it has a velvet-like finish. Very impressed!!

Great for a natural glowy look
I love a natural look so loved this product. Great for everyday wear and super quick to apply, just a few drops applied with my fingers. I use this as I would a tinted moisturiser

Nice Quality
This is extremely lightweight on the skin and quite luxurious. Maybe slightly overpriced but I'm happy to pay it reading about all the good quality ingredients in it, and the skincare benefits it's supposed to have. I wouldn't say you'd be disappointed. Would buy it again!

Excellent for dry/combi skin!
I have dry skin with an oily T-zone so finding the right product has been a long journey. Kosas tinted face oil is perfect and offers a buildable coverage - little goes a long way! Would definitely recommend it.

Great for mature/combi skin
Been using it for a few months and can honestly say it's a great product. This is the liquid equivalent of a compact powder, gives a dewy, almost airbrushed finish. The best way to use is to blend with fingertips, just 2-3 drops. Easy to use, great on its own or mixed with other foundation. Would repurchase.

Not for me
I have dry skin and was really looking forward to trying this. Didn’t like it at all. I didn’t get that dewy look I was hoping for. Instead, it felt like it was sitting on top of my skin, not sinking in and looking dull. I find that Nars pure radiance and Surratt Dew Drop are way better. Sisley tinted moisturizer is also good but the colour range is very limited.

Wasn't for me
I didn't get the effect I expected with this tint somehow. First of all, it is not compatible with my favourite moisturizer (Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream), and immediately starts peeling off when it comes to contact with it. So I am layering it over a hyaluronic acid water treatment. I know this is supposed to be a tint only, so it is really sheer. But I had to use a lot to get even a little bit of coverage (25 drops or so). Finally, there is a very subtle oil smell in the product. It is not overwhelming, but I can still smell it a couple of hours later and it somehow is not so pleasant for me. I might use it on days when I have no time to throw makeup on so that I finish the product (which will probably take me 10-15 uses or so with the amount I need), but I won't be purchasing it again. It might be really nice for some other people but it just wasn't for me.

Adore
I completely adore this formulation, as a dry skinner girl who is OBSESSED with a dewy base this is my go-to. The oil not only nourishes my skin while wearing it but gives me the perfect glow which results in multiple people asking what I'm wearing. The easiest way to apply this is with your hands, I was a little turned off by this at first but it's so easy and created the most flawless, seamless base.
