Exemplifying this to a tee is this Tinted Face Oil, an ultra-lightweight foundation offering deep hydration, medium coverage and all-day wear. The make up equivalent to your comfiest sweatpants, this serum-like formula glides over your skin with a natural velvety finish that still looks like your skin. With 16 shades to choose from, all of which are infused with pore-minimising, skin-evening botanical oils, this silky formula suits a wide spectrum of skin tones.
Foundation, but not as you know it Kosas Tinted Face Oil has an innovative oil texture that grants instant hydration and nourishment while cloaking your skin in blemish-blurring, skin-evening mineral pigment.
It's blended with six active botanical oils think: hydrating avocado and meadowfoam, soothing jojoba, brightening rosehip, balancing camellia seed oil and reparative red raspberry to help minimise the appearance of pores while evening skin tone. Just as important as the ingredients in the mix are those left out; the vegan and cruelty-free formula is void of all kinds of chemical nasties including parabens, silicones, PEG or sulphates. Sinking in seamlessly and rapidly into your skin, this clever concoction is rather like a serum or moisturiser with added pigment, granting a velvety smooth finish while enhancing your skins natural glow. There are 16 shades to choose from, making the foundation suitable for a wide spectrum of skin tones.

Current Favorite
I have combo-oily skin (T-Zone) and this is an excellent 'clean beauty' option for me. I'm discerning when it comes to ingredients and this passes my nit-picky test. I do not put on skincare in the mornings and use all cream makeup products, so I have no issues with layering. Kosas color 3 matches well with RMS 11 or Kjaer Weis Silken (maybe a tiny touch lighter than Silken and less yellow).

Natural and glowy finish
This product is revolutionary. It makes me look naturally glowy, and covers all my redness on the cheeks and around the nose. Even my fine lines are less visible! I love how it feels light on the skin but offers a great coverage. New favourite on my shelves!

Really good
I started using this as something different to my usual tinted moisturizer and cannot recommend it enough. I find a little goes a long way. I use a large kabuki brush to apply them pat in with a beauty blender leaves my skin glowing and healthy looking.

New favourite
Love this foundation, it is my new favourite everyday foundation. It feels nice on my dry skin and with just a light coverage. I have a fair cool toned complexion and 01 is perfect match for me.

Broke me out and difficult to use
I found this product incredibly difficult to use. It didn't apply well with my fingers if I swiped. I found the best way to apply it was by patting it in. Unfortunately it also broke me out and flared up my dermatitis. A great product in theory but just doesn't perform.

Overrated
I can see how this product would work for someone with already great skin. However, if you have any redness, dark spots or dry patches, it’s only going to emphasize them. Feels nice and smooth on the face tho but it’s basically a slightly tinted face oil if you want to look more awake in the morning. Also, 40£ for 30ml is a bit of a ripoff, in my opinion.

Natural healthy look
Love this product, looks very natural, basically my skin but a bit healthier and more uniform. Very easy to apply. Hesitated a lot for which tint to get. I choose nb 7 and in mac, I'm an nc35 if that helps.

Disappointed
Loved the concept of this. Thought it would be a great option for a tinted moisteriser in winter when my skin is a bit drier. Tried it with various different moisturisers and serums underneath but couldn't achieve the glowy finish I was hoping for. Found it went powdery around the nose and chin and made these dry areas look worse.

Best foundation ever
Foundations - I've had/have them all and this is by far the best so far. It covers just enough and perfectly and has a nice oily texture that feels very nourishing and nurturing for the skin. In spite of the oil, the skin gets a delightful velvet finish. Tati Westbrook suggested this foundation as a light Sunday foundation but I wear it every day now. I'm 51, blond Scandinavian with fair complexion and I use 02.

Really tried to like it!
I love face oils and almost no coverage products. Though this will be my holy grail.. but NO. You have to change your skincare to perfectly work for this one otherwise it PEELS. And if you actually love natural glow (my skin is glowing already) this will actually make you not that glowing/less glowing that you would expect from a face oil. Really tried to make it work and like it... passed it along!
