Excellent exfoliating serum for sensitive skin
I'm about to finish a bottle of this and decided to repurchase, and here is why: I have tried acid toners, exfoliating serums and masks, and I've come to the conclusion that glycolic acid in high concentrations irritates my skin and so do some preservatives found in most formulas, and that many exfoliating masks that target sensitive skin, are not exfoliating enough. In this scenario, Moonlight Catalyst works perfectly: it exfoliates (I can actually see it), helps diminish pimple scarring and keeps my face clear. I use it 3 to 4 times a week. Now the weather's really cold and my skin quite dehydrated, so I layer this with a couple of drops of hyaluronic acid serum. I wake up to a clear, luminous and soft skin.

Fabulous but...
Lovely product but I find myself not reaching for it much because of the smell! It smells of wet socks. I literally gagged a few times after I used it. Unfortunately, the smell lingers for quite a while too - perhaps that means it's working? Or perhaps I received a bad batch? Either way, I had to bin this as I just couldn't bear it anymore. I rated it 2 stars because it did seem to do something to my skin.

It arrives at Cult Beauty, finally!
The Moonlight Catalyst has been a good alternative to my ReVive Moisturising Renewal Cream which I've decided to drop it from my routine after converting to green beauty. For those who miss the 'wow' result while wanting to go green, this is the serum to go for. Personally, I layer it with serums (beauty oil, that is) from some of my favourite green beauty brands.
