My fave esp for cold climate
This has become my go-to SPF for face and body. I love how it is so hydrating and creamy, but absorbs quickly. It’s especially great in the colder months, and in the summer I use it for my neck, shoulders and arms. The small size of the tube is great for travelling, and the price is just right! Of note, this will settle in to your eye creases so be sure to blend well or avoid the area.

I was looking for a balm with SPF protection for my lips and searched “lips spf” on Cultbeauty. This product was the first to appear so I ordered it immediately (I accidentally ordered two products). Today it arrived, I opened it and put on my lips. Then I understood it felt a bit strange on my lips so I checked the description and found that it’s not allowed to put on the area close to eyes and also lips! I’m really frustrated and don’t understand why Cult search system showed me this product first among other lips spf protection products? I’ll definitely return another unopened one and don’t know what to do with this opened product. Very disappointed!

Too pasty
I love the regular Cicaplast Baume so I was excited about this because I thought it might save me a moisturising step in the morning. Unfortunately I found it really unpleasant. It’s really thick and doesn’t slide on smoothly when warmed up like the regular baume. I tried using it on my hands because I hated the way it felt on my face (like it was suffocating my skin) but it didn’t seem to make my hands feel great either. It left my skin super oily and had a visible white cast (I’m pretty pale so that usually doesn’t happen to me). I don’t think I used much so I’m not sure why it was so bad. I can’t speak to the SPF aspect because I didn’t wear it outside.

A staple for me
I am completely obsessed with this product, but I'll be honest and say that I haven't yet tried it on my face. I get eczema on my hands and factors that flare it up tend to be fragrance, heat and sun to name a few. This balm has become my daily hand cream and I reapply it throughout the day after washing my hands to keep my hands protected and my eczema away. The texture is creamy but it absorbs perfectly without any kind of greasy film. I also like that it is the perfect size for keeping in my bag.
