Nothing on Carmex
I bought the lemon flavor in December and also received the chocolate version in my advent calendar. I've used the lemon one almost every night for 2-3 weeks and have noticed literally no difference. My cheap chap stick/lip balm does more for my dry lips than this expensive "mask". Do not recommend at all.

Very effective
I got this as part of the advent calendar in the chocolate flavour. I'm currently pregnant and one of my symptoms is my lips swell up overnight and I frequently had to put water on them through the night or when I moved them there was painful cracking. This has completely solved the problem for me - it's a thick texture so I can put it on before going to sleep then am fine by the time I wake up in the morning which has been a great help. I wouldn't normally go for a chocolate flavour but it's really nice - feels a bit like the inside of a Lindt ball!

I don’t get what the hype is about
This is a nice lip balm don’t get me wrong, but… it’s just not all that? I wouldn’t buy it again personally just because it’s honestly just average and Vaseline gives me the same amount of hydration for a significantly lower sum.

Really lovely smell + texture, but doesn't moisturise enough for my very dry lips
The smell is amazing and I find this a great lip balm for day wear underneath lip glosses, but it doesn't moisturise my lips (which are generally quite dry) all that much. It's not as thick as I would expect from a lip mask. However, another plus is that the pot has lasted ages. I won't repurchase though, I need to find something more moisturising.
